About hsvisions

Born again at about 16 yrs. of age (1957) Baptized in the Holy Spirit (1977) I was given my first vision while attending a men's christian weekend (Cursillo) in 1978, on my birthday. Since that time I began recording these Holy Spirit visits (visions) and began illustrating them many years ago. The messages from the Holy Spirit are primarily forthtelling-edification- for the body of Christ here on earth. Many of these message reveal what God is like, many are given to let the Church know Him, and that He is always with us. Kathy was baptized in the Holy Spirit in 1977, three days before I received the baptism. Kathy is our Editor and proof reader.

INVISIBLE DOME

Psalm 37:7 “Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; do not fret when men succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes.”

The Scene: Like an invisible protective dome over the path of the Lord—covering the narrow way which leads to eternal salvation. (See Matthew 7:14.)

The Lord protects His own.

Psalm 140:7 O Sovereign Lord, my strong deliverer, who shields my head in the day of battle—do not grant the wicked their desires, O Lord.”

This is King David’s prayer which all God’s children can declare as their own, each and every day.

Our God is the great I AM, creator of our paths, light of our paths. We are commanded to follow the narrow way, the straight path of salvation and eternal life. He is the keeper of the way. He promises protection from the enemy, Satan, for all His children.

Isaiah 41:10 “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God.”

Hebrews 13:6 “So we say with confidence, ‘The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?’”

LOOK FOR YOUR BLESSINGS

Exodus 23:25 “Worship the Lord your God, and his blessings will be on your food and water. I will take away sickness from among you, and none will miscarry or be barren in your land. I will give you a full life span.”

The Scene: Hands of a prospector panning, sifting sand looking for gold from a stream. Gold can be a symbol of God’s blessings to His children. The stream represents His “living water,” His Word, His promises.

Like a person looking for gold nuggets, the Lord’s children are to seek and find, daily, His blessings. The heavenly Father’s blessings are there for the seeking. When His people find His grace and blessings, they give thanks and praise to Him.

In praising, in lieu of complaining, we will find ourselves more joyful. If God’s children will make a habit of looking for His blessings daily, attitudes will be changed from being negative and depressing to attitudes of joy and peace.

Giving thanks to our Father God and His Son Jesus is pleasing to them both, as they long for our right relationship with them. That spiritual relationship can only come by listening to the Holy Spirit and doing what He says.

Ephesians 1:3-6 “Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love he predestined us to be adopted as his sons through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will—to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves.”

Romans 8:38 “For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

The Scene: A fenced in area: a symbol of separation.

For the Lord our God has said, “I AM that I AM.” (Exodus 3:14) Nothing comes between the Father and His children, neither fence nor wall.

Romans 8:35-37 “Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? As it is written: ‘For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.’ No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.

Proverbs 12:1 “Whoever loves discipline loves knowledge, but he who hates correction is stupid.”

The Scene: Rope and strap/belt; symbols of implements for restraint.

The Lord gives correction to those He loves, as any loving parent does; God disciplines His children for their own good, as children of God. We are to accept and learn from our errors through the help of the Holy Spirit, the Teacher of the Word.

Proverbs 10:17 “He who heeds discipline shows the way to life, but whoever ignores correction leads others astray.”

Our Father God will do whatever He knows is necessary, to keep His children on the straight and narrow way to salvation.

Psalm 74:12 “ But you, O God are my king from of old; you bring salvation upon the earth.”

Hebrews 12:5b-6 “ …my son do not make light of the Lord’s discipline, and do not lose heart when he rebukes you, because the Lord disciplines those he loves, and punishes everyone he accepts as a son.”

True love from a father must include tough love for his own children. And that is how we know we are His and He is our heavenly Father.

JESUS IS LIGHT

2 Corinthians 4:6 “ For God who said, ‘Let light shine out of darkness,’ made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ.”

The Scene: The narrow way, an otherwise dark street being illuminated by a tall streetlight, a representation of God’s people, believers in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. God’s people are like street lights, brightly shining in a darkened world.

Jesus’ light shines into our hearts and that light shines out into a dark, sinful world.

1 John 1:5 “ This is the message we have heard from him and declares to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all.”

John 3:19-20 “This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that his deeds will be exposed.”

God’s children have this light given to them through the Holy Spirit. Therefore, it cannot be contained. For they are new creations and the world can see the difference. Many shun the light but some choose to come into the light and are saved by the blood of Jesus Christ.

1 Peter 2:2 “Like new born babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation, now that you have tasted that the Lord is good.”

The Scene: A grocery shopping cart filled with good food—symbolic of God’s Word like a shopping cart containing healthful food, to help Christians grow up in spiritual maturity.

The Holy Spirit directs us to come to Him for spiritual food. He directs us in understanding God’s Holy Word.

Deuteronomy 8:3 “He humbled you, causing you to hunger and then feeding you with manna, which neither you nor your fathers had known, to teach you that man does not live on bread alone but on every word that comes from the mouth of the Lord.”

John 6:35-36 “ Then Jesus declared, ‘ I am the bread of life. He who comes to me will never go hungry and he who believes in me will never be thirsty.’ “

1 Corinthians 10:3-4 “They all ate the same spiritual food and drank the same spiritual drink; for they drank from the spiritual rock that accompanied them, and that rock was Christ.”

NEW BEGINNINGS

Matthew 26:34-35 I tell you the truth,” Jesus answered, “this very night, before the rooster crows, you will disown me tree times.” But Peter declared, “Even if I have to die with you, I will never disown you.”And all the other disciples said the same.”

The Scene: A symbolic rooster crows at sunrise.

Matthews 26:74-75 “Then he began to call down curses on himself and he swore to them, ‘I don’t know the man!’ Immediately a rooster crowed. Then Peter remembered the word Jesus had spoken: ‘Before the rooster crows, you will disown me three times.’ And he went outside and wept bitterly.”

Why did Jesus choose a rooster to sound off, as a reminder, to peter, as he denied his Lord?

And why did the rooster crow three times? Possibly because the rooster crows at dawn—announcing a new day—in this case announcing a new beginning for the world. Jesus would soon be crucified and His resurrection would follow three days later. With the risen Lord came a new beginning for all mankind.

In the Bible numbers, 3 represents several things: completion, resurrection, divinity, entire,Trinity, perfection, divine witness, solid and real.

Jesuscrucifixion made His work on earth complete; Jesus died so that the entire world could live eternally in heaven, if people choose to believe in Him as the Son of God, Savior.

Jesus’ coming made Father God real in the hearts of men. Jesus said, “If you have seen Me you have seen the Father.” He was perfection in that He never sinned. Jesus is called the Rock, as in solid as the rock and we can count on Him. He is with us always, a part of the Trinity, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; And he was the divine witness of the one true God.

Lamentations 3:22-23 “Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.”

2 Peter 1:19 “And we have the word of the prophets made more certain, and you will do well to pay attention to it, as a light shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the Morning Star rises in your hearts.”

NUMBER OF DAYS

Psalm 39:4 “Show me O Lord, my life’s end and the number of my days; let me know how fleeting is my life.”

The Scene: A ticket machine, like one used to determine a place in line– the number 25.500 appears on the next ticket. Seventy years equals 25,500 days.

Our time on earth is limited~~only God knows the exact number of days. We, therefore, are called upon to make the most of our days, living for God’s kingdom.

Psalm 90:10,12 “The length of our days is seventy years—or eighty, if we have the strength; yet their span is but trouble and sorrow, for they quickly pass, and we fly away. Teach us to number our days aright, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.”

We are called to study and learn from God’s Word, gaining in His knowledge and understanding.

2Timothy 3:16 “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness.”

MORNING STAR

2Peter 1:19 “And we have the word of the prophets made more certain, and you will do well to pay attention to it, as to a light shining in a dark place until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts.”

The Scene: A representation of the light of God illuminating the human heart.

Revelation 22:16 “I Jesus, have sent my angel to give you this testimony for the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David and the bright Morning Star.”

2 Corinthians 4:6 “For God, who said, ‘Let light shine out of darkness,’ made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ.”

Unsaved people will notice something is different about those who choose to follow the light of the Morning Star. The inward fire of God cannot be contained.

Isaiah 60:1 “Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you.”

Matthew 5:16 “In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.”

Without the Morning Star in our hearts the Church cannot exhibit His divine love and power.
