THE POWER OF THE CROSS
ICorinthians1:18 ” For the message about the Cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are saved it is the power of God.”
Luke10:19 “I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all power of the enemy; nothing will harm you.”
God has given all power under heaven to us. We have the power of the Holy Spirit, His Word, His Son and the Cross.

“HE WILL BE THERE”, (when we have dug ourselves into a deep hole.)
Ecclesiastes 10:8a ” Whoever digs a pit may fall into it.”
Psalm .36:5 “Your love O Lord, reaches to the heavens, your faithfulness to the skies.
2 Timothy 2:13 “If we are faithless, He will remain faithful, for He cannot disown Himself.”
When God’s children do not listen to Him the sun in their lives seems to go down and darkness can be closing in on them, or so it seems. But, when we realize what we have done to ourselves, and call on His name, Jesus, He will be there for us.

“HE, GOD, CREATED ALL THE NATIONS”
Isaiah 32:16 “Justice will dwell in the desert (Israel) and righteousness in the fertile fields (USA)
Psalm 102:18 ” Let this be written for a future generation, that a people not yet created may praise the Lord.”
Psalms72:17 ” All nations will be blessed through Him, and they will call Him blessed.”
God is the protector of our faith and defender of nations. He covers Israel and the U.S.A. He is not through with these nations yet.—He has a plan.

“LIKE A BEACON ON A HILL”
Mt. 5:14 ,16 ” You are the light of the world.” …let you light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in Heaven.”
We are made in God’s image. Therefore we are called to be like Him, as sons and daughters. “We must always remember who we are in Him….always looking ahead, never behind.” said the Holy Spirit.
Ep. 5:8 ” For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light.”

TEST ME
Mal. 3:10 “Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in My house. Test Me in this, says the Lord Almighty, and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room for it.”
To the Church, the Lord says, “Test Me.” God challenges His people to tithe and see what happens. God tells us “seek, ask ,knock.” Some action on our part is required. When we listen to what He says and do what He says, the floodgates(doors ) of Heaven will open and pour out His blessings upon us, to overflowing……
Rev. 3:8 “I know your deeds. See, I have put before you an open door which no one can shut. I know that you have little strength, yet you have kept My Word, and have not denied My name.

“More of Jesus, Less of me.”
2 Cor. 5:14-15 “For Christ’s love compels us, because we are convinced that One died for all and therefore all died. And He died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves, but for Him who died for them and was raised again.”
If God’s people are to truly represent God’s love to others, be “Ambassadors for Christ”,2 Cor. 5:20, we must do as Paul said.
Helen H. Lemmel wrote” Turn your eyes upon Jesus“, (a song) “Look full in His wonderful face and the things of earth grow strangely dim, in the light of His Glory and Grace.”

“WITHOUT GOD”
Psalm 103:14 ” For He knows how we are formed, He remembers that we are dust.”
Mankind on his own is incompetent, without God. He is weak, susceptible to the troubles of the world and then fades away.
We are made as “jars of clay” by the Master. Whether we live forever depends on listening to God’s Word and doing what He says.
Matthew 5:16 ” Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in Heaven

Revelation 2:7 ” He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit is says to the churches. To him who overcomes, I will give the right to eat from the Tree of Life, which is in the Paradise of God.”
Many of the world’s Christian churches are falling away from the true Word of God . Like a balloon that was once filled with air (represents the breath Holy Spirit) and was mostly round, now has one end that is lean because the air has been pushed to one end. As the apostate church takes over in some places, the Holy Spirit starts new churches in other parts of the world. Our Lord will not be denied.

The bright light shining from behind the clouds, a reminder of Jesus, the Light, and a promise of His return.
I Thessalonians 4:16-17 “For the Lord Himself will come down from Heaven with a loud command, with the voice of the Archangel and with the trumpet call of God and the dead in Christ will rise first.”

“We are Ambassadors for Christ!”John 14:16-17 “And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another counselor- The Spirit of Truth-He lives with you and in you.”
The FLAG has seven stripes: The number 7 is the number of completion in Him.
The COLORS: White: Purity, holiness, resurrection. Red: Fire, The presence of God; Pentecost; The color of the Church; martyrs. Purple: mourning/suffering; Lent/Advent. Blue: royalty
2 Corithians 5:20 We are therefore Christ’s Ambassadors, as though God were making His appeal through us. We implore you in Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God.
We are to remember who we represent at all times.
