FILLED WITH HIS LOVE

2 Corinthians 1:5 “For just as the sufferings of Christ flow over into our lives, so also through Christ our comfort overflows.”

The Scene: 1) Clouds and mountains: representing God in his power and majesty, which brings the eternal rain (living water) into our lives. He is always with us.

2) Water flowing into the reservoir: from the mountains: represents the love of Jesus- “living water”, to the Christian believers.

3) The reservoir: represents the born- again believers’ bodies, Christ living in us. Colossians 1:27 “To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.”

4) The berm: (dam) : holds back the living waters until the body is full (ready). Like the old saying, “What is down in the well comes up in the bucket!”

5) The Spillway: Stream flowing out of the reservoir- God’s love flowing out tthrough believers who are willing to receive God’s Word and do what it says.

Revelation 22:17 “The Spirit and the bride say,”Come!” And let him who hears say,”Come!” Whoever is thirsty, let him come, and whoever wishes, let him take the free gift of the water of life.”

Life eternal! Hallelujah!

THERE IS A REMNANT

THERE IS A REMNANT

2 Peter 3:10 ” But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything in it will be laid bare.”

Paul said, ” So too, at the present time there is a remnant chosen by grace, then it is no longer by works; if it were, grace would no longer be grace.” (Romans 11:5)

There will always be people who will try to destroy those who are called by Jesus’ name. “But I, the Lord, will always raise up and preserve a remnant (the bride of Christ) who will honor and serve Me,” the Lord said to me (Larry).

Revelation 12:17 “Then the dragon was enraged at the woman and went off to make war against the rest of her offspring–those who obey God’s commandments and hold to the testimony of Jesus. And the dragon stood on the shore of the sea.”

The Scene:1) the charred landscape: 2 Peter 3:10. See above scripture verse.

2) The flowered bloom: rising from the ashes, representing God’s remnant.

3) Blue sky: sign of a better time to come, God’s promises.

4) Three birds in flight: representing the Trinity.

THE TIME IS NOW

THE TIME IS NOW (TO TRUST HIM)

Psalm 37:7 ” Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; do not fret when men succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes.”

“Wait upon the Lord. Be not dismayed.”, the Holy Spirit says.

The Scene: Clock– The passage of time. God is the creator of time, from beginning to end-use it wisely. “Lord Jesus, guide our steps, help us to have godly wisdom and discernment. Help us to dedicate ourselves to you each day.”

Ephesians 1:9-10 ” And he made known to us the mystery of his will according to his good pleasure, which he purposed in Christ, to be put into effect when the times will have reached their fulfillment- to bring all things in heaven and on earth together under one head, even Christ.”

“Wait upon Me, and see what I am about to do,”said the Lord.

Isaiah 32:2 ” O Lord be gracious to us, we long for you. Be our strength every morning, our salvation in times of distress.”

The Lord does not want us, His people, wailing. He wants our love and trust, in these troubled times, the Holy Spirit said.

We are to be like Jacob: Nehemiah 8:10 “Nehemiah said, “Go and enjoy choice food and sweet drinks, and send some to those who have nothing prepared. This day is sacred to our Lord. Do not grieve for the joy of the Lord is our strength.”

“Trust in me, I am your God.”, said the Holy Spirit. “Psalm 27:14 “wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord.”

Be of good cheer, for He will give us the strength we need. He promises us!

Ephesians 3:16 ” I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being.”

A NEW DAY

A NEW DAY (HOPE)

1 Thessalonians 5:8 ” But since we belong to the day, let us be self-controlled, putting on faith and love as a breastplate, and the hope of salvation as a helmet.”

The Scene: Like standing on the bridge of a ship at sea, during the predawn watch, (0400-0800 hrs.) the rays of the sun shown across the sky: new day coming, with all its expectations. The Holy Spirit said,” Like the new day, look to Me, with expectation of what I will do for you.”

Romans 13:12 ” The night is nearly over; the day is almost here. So let us put aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light.”

Our days can be brighter and go far better, when we ask the Holy Spirit to go before us and lead the way, to guide our steps, give us wisdom from God and give us Godly discernment, in Jesus’ name.

TIMES OF TESTING

TIMES OF TESTING

Genesis 22:1 Some time later God tested Abraham.”Here I am, he replied.” (Read Chapter 22) (V.2) Then God said, ” Take your son, your only son, Isaac, whom you love, and go to the region of Moriah. Sacrifice him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains I will show you.”

As Christians we can all be sure that we will be tested by God.

Jesus said, “In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33)

Abraham knew God. He had walked with Him many times and had learned to trust him completely. Abraham knew, in his heart, that when told by God to sacrifice his only son, that God would provide a way, where there seemed to be no way. God did provide a ram; this was a type and shadow of Jesus, God’s only Son, that was sacrificed for us.

Read Job Chapter 1: Job was allowed by God to be tested to the max. Job’s heart remained strong for God; Job trusted Him.

THE FRUIT OF RIGHTEOUSNESS

Isaiah 32;16,20” Justice will dwell in the desert and righteousness live in the fertile field.”

When people decide to follow God’s moral laws and commandments; they will find true peace.

Hosea 2:18 ” In that day I will make a covenant for them with the beasts of the field and the birds of the air and the creatures that move along the ground. Bow and sword and battle I will abolish from the land, so that all may lie down in safety.”

Psalm 119:165 ” Great peace have they that love your law, and nothing can make them stumble.

Matthew 5:9 ” Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called sons of God.”

Pray for Jesus’ return so that we may have true peace in this world. Maranatha Lord Jesus, come quickly!

THE FREE PRESS

THE FREE PRESS (GOD’S WORD)

The scene: 1) The Free Press: God’s Word, the Gospel, “Good News”

God’s Word is free to those who will accept it.

2) Editor-in-Chief: Jesus. “In the beginning was the Word.” (John 1:1)

3) The Paper of the Free: “Represents God’s own elect-the Church”

4) Free born: Those who are born again. John 3:5 ” Jesus answered, ” I tell you the truth, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit. Flesh gives birth to flesh, but Spirit gives birth to spirit. You should not be surprised at my saying, “You must be born again.”

Jesus was free born because He was fathered by the Holy Spirit of the living God. He was the only man to walk the earth without sin. He remained free of sin. This is the reason He could be the author of eternal life. See Luke 1:35.

Isaiah 52:7 “How beautiful on the mountain are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim salvation, who say to Zion, “Your God reigns!”

HEAL THEIR LAND

HEAL THEIR LAND

2 Chronicles 7:14 ” If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and will heal their land.

The Scene: 1) The Christian church and the Jewish temple: Many people go to church or the synagogue that believe they are saved, and bound for heaven, but have not turned their lives over to Jesus, the Messiah and accepted Him as their Savior, and become born again.

2) The Treatment plant: Represents Jesus; When believers truly repent of their sin to Jesus, He is the only one who can cleanse them and make them pure and whole, allowing them to be born again.

3) Sewer lines: Represent the carrying away of the sins of repentant people, to the treatment plant.

4) Clean water lines: Clean water being discharged from the treatment plant (formerly the polluted sewer water). Clean water represents the Word of God, the Holy Bible, Living Water.

If God’s people will repent, Jesus will help them clean up their lives and they will be favored (healed). They must turn their lives over to Jesus, completely, as Savior and Lord of their entire lives.

Psalm 25: 2-3 ” in you I put my trust O my God, do not let me be put to shame, nor let my enemies triumph over me. No one whose hope is in you will ever be put to shame, but they will be put to shame who are treacherous without excuse.”

UNDER THE SHADOW (WE NEED NOT FEAR)

Psalm 7:8 ” Keep me as the apple of your eye; hide me in the shadow of your wing.”

The Scene: The shadow of a dove representing the Holy Spirit’s covering (protection) over His Church.

“We need not fear for life nor death”, said the Holy Spirit, “For I your God, am with you always.”

Psalm 57:1 ” Have mercy on me, O God, have mercy on me, for in you my soul takes refuge. I will take refuge in the shadow of your wings until the disaster has passed.”

There is a special place in God’s heart for His Church.

Malachi 3:17 ” They will be mine, says the Lord Almighty, in the day when I make up my treasured possession(The Church). I will spare them (The remnant) just as in compassion a man spares his son who serves him.” (v.17) ” And you will again see the distinction between the righteous and the wicked, between those who serve God and those who do not.”

Psalm 91:1 He who dwells in the shadow of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.

OUR GUIDING LIGHT

OUR GUIDING LIGHT

Psalm 48:14 ” For this God is our God forever and ever; he will be our guide even to the end.”

The more we ask God to go before us in every situation, the better opportunities we will have for success, in all situations. And we, in return, can give God the praise and glory due His name, Jesus Christ our Lord.

John 8:12 ” When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said ” I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.

God leads us one step at a time.

Isaiah 60:20 ” To the Church the Lord says, ” Your sun will never set again, and your moon will wane no more; the Lord will be your everlasting light, and your days of sorrow will end.”
