John 8:12 When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”

The scene: Holy Bible lantern, held by the Lord’s mighty right hand, representing God’s ultimate authority.

God has given us His Holy Word as a light to guide our paths through life, leading us to His righteousness.

Psalm 114:105 Your Word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path.

The Holy Bible lights our way at all times.

Psalm 119:30 The unfolding of your Word gives us light; It gives understanding to the simple.

The Holy Trinity acts in unison: God the Father’s Word through Jesus Christ, the Light of the world and the Holy Spirit, who is the teacher. His Holy Bible gives us revelation knowledge and wisdom.

OUR GUARDIAN

Psalm 34:17-19 The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. A righteous man may have many troubles, but the Lord delivers him from them all.

The Scene: Like a protective guardrail at a turn in life’s journey. Our God is eternally vigilant to protect us from harm from the enemy of God– Satan.

Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

Spiritual warfare, a battle for the mind, continues while we live; but as we pursue the narrow way of righteousness, the enemy can’t ultimately control our path to heaven and eternal life.

ATONING SACRIFICE

ATONING SACRIFICE

1 John 2:2 He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world.

The Scene: An altar: made from natural stones; five (5) stones high and the base is seven (7) stones wide at the base/foundation with five (5) stones across just below the altar. In the Bible numbers, 5 represents grace and 7 represents completion and the ministry of Jesus. The natural stones are untouched by a mason’s tool, representing God’s grace, without the help of a man.

The fire is burning up mankind’s sin. Hebrews 12:29 for our God is a consuming fire.

Deuteronomy 27:5-6 Build there an altar of stones to the Lord your God, an altar of stones. Do not use any iron tool upon them. Build the altar of the Lord your God with field stones and offer a burnt offering on it to the Lord your God.

In the early days, the people were instructed by the Lord to offer sacrifices of animals without blemish. They were put on the altar and burned as an offering for their sins. Jesus came to replace the sin sacrifices (which did not erase mankind’s sin).

God provided the people everything needed for offerings: rocks, fuel for the sacrifice, and His only Son, Jesus Christ. The people put forth little effort in comparison.

Jesus came that we may have life. He made the ultimate sacrifice for us. None other is required.

A STAR WILL COME OUT OF JACOB

A STAR WILL COME OUT OF JACOB

Numbers 24:17 I see him, but not now; I behold him, but not near. A star will come out of Jacob; a scepter will rise out of Israel.

The Scene: A peaceful setting; the tents represent the people given to Jesus by the Father. The many colors represent the people from around the world that have come out of many nations and denominations to form one people, under God, the Almighty.

Note: All the tent flags are red in color, representing that each person is covered by the blood of Jesus the Christ, who died for the sins of all who will receive Him as Savior.

John 6:37-38 ” All the Father gives to me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never drive away. For I have come down from heaven not to do my will but to do the will of him who sent me.”

1 John 4:14 And we have seen and testify that the Father sent his Son to be Savior of the world.

HARDENING OF THE HEART

2 Corinthians 4:4 The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.

The Scene: A sinner’s heart that has been hardened. Like a block of concrete, the heart of the unrepentant sinner will be hardened.

Satan, the god of this age, will do all that is within his power to hardened the hearts of the people against God leading to stubbornness.

Stubbornness leads to spiritual blindness, which leads to hardening of the heart.

Proverbs 28:14 Blessed is the man who always fears the Lord, but he who hardens his heart falls into trouble.

God wants what is best for us. In order to get God’s best we must submit to His will for our lives, not our fleshly will.

Matthew 6:33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

1 Corinthians 5:6 Your boasting is not good. Don’t you know a little yeast works through the whole batch of dough?

The Scene: Unleavened bread (no yeast in the batch) reminds the Church that even a little yeast/leaven, will leave a bad effect on the whole body of the Church.

*Leaven: Definition: an element that produces an altering or transforming influence, to permeate an element.

1 Corinthians 5:7 Get rid of the old yeast, so that you may be a new unleavened batch—as you really are. For Christ, our Passover lamb, has been sacrificed.

As the bride of Christ, who is to be spotless, prepares for Jesus’ return, the Holy Spirit reminds the Church that sin creeps into Christians through seemingly harmless vehicles such as reading daily horoscopes, the newspaper, watching movies & TV programs with demonic content, all of which leads to spiritual blindness.

Job 25:2 Dominion and awe belong to God; he establishes order in the heights of heaven.

The Scene: represents chaos in the world. The color black background represents sin , change, relativism.

The Lord takes chaos and turns it into order, at His pleasure. Anarchy and chaos follows when people leave God out of their lives.

Psalm 24:1-2 The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it; for he founded it upon it upon the seas and established it upon the waters.

When we find ourselves in chaos, as true believers of Jesus Christ, we can give the situation to God and He will bring order into every situation.

Hebrews 11:3 By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God’s command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible.

The world is a better place when people listen to Me (My Word) and do what I say, says God the Holy Spirit. Until humankind listens to the Holy Spirit, the world will be out of order and in chaos.

MANY BLESSINGS

MANY BLESSINGS John 1:16 From the fullness of his grace we have all received one blessing after another.

The Scene: The constellation represents the showers of blessings received during troubled times because as many blessings exist as the number of stars in the heavens.

Ephesians 1:3 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ.

Psalm 3:8 From the Lord comes deliverance. May your blessing be on your people.

Blessings will continue to flow out from the Lord to His people who trust in Him, those who are faithful.

Matthew 6:33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

The blessings of our Lord brings us wealth. Hallelujah!

THEY ARE ASLEEP

THEY ARE ASLEEP

Mark 13:36-37 If he comes suddenly, do not let him find you sleeping.” What I say to you, I say to everyone: Watch!”

The scene: 1) The Sleeper: represents the unsaved world, spiritually asleep. 2)The Blanket: providing a pad of comfort, away from their problems, the unsaved people think. 3) Blackness–surrounding the sleeper on the blanket, representing evil all around them.

1 Thessalonians 5:6-11 So then, let us not be like others, who are asleep, but let us be alert and self-controlled. For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk, get drunk at night. But since we belong to the day, let us be self-controlled, putting on faith and love as a breastplate, and hope of salvation as a helmet. For God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ. He died for us so that, whether we are awake or asleep, we may live together with him. Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.

WINDOWS OF HEAVEN

Psalm 57:10 For great is your love, reaching to the heavens; your faithfulness reaches to the skies.

The Scene:The sun is shining through the clouds brightly, as a reminder that God is always with us: Jehovah Shammah (the Lord is everywhere) 1) The Sun: Representing God’s presence (He is light) 2) Clouds representing troubles, problems in this world which can block the sun’s light. 3) Blue sky representing royalty– Jesus, His presence is everywhere- envelops all. 4) Birds representing the Holy Trinity.

Revelation 1:16b …his face was like the sun shining in all its brilliance.

2 Thessalonians 3:3 But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen and protect you from the evil one.

Psalm 89:15 Blessed are those who have learned to acclaim you, who walk in the light of your presence, O Lord.
