NEVER DOUBT

NEVER DOUBT THE LORD

NEVER DOUBT THE LORD

Hebrews 13:8  “ Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.”

The Scene: Noah’s ark (Read Genesis Chapter 6-the flood):  Noah built the ark as God commanded him. The waters rose & the rain fell as the ark began to float. Noah believed God, so he (Noah) built the ark. The flood waters lasted 150 days. Then God remembered Noah and sent a wind over the earth and the waters receded. Then God made a covenant with Noah. (See Genesis Chapter 9 for full account). God blessed Noah & his sons. Noah lived 950 years.

As long as God knows that his people are faithful (have good hearts) He will continue to bless them, as He has in the past, through their finances, family, household,  business, etc.  Father God is always faithful and is His only Son, who is like Him, is faithful, also.

REMAIN IN ME

REMAIN IN ME

REMAIN IN ME

John 15:1-5 “I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit He prunes so that it will be even more fruitful. You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you. Remain in Me, and I will remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in Me.”

The process of pruning seems hash and painful. However, once the plants recover they become stronger, more productive and healthy. God gives us a promise.

John 15:7 ” If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be given to you.”

This promise holds true when we do our part, asking and believing, with a right heart.

John 15:16 ” You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit–fruit that will last. Then the Father will give you whatever you ask in my name.” (The mighty name of Jesus.)

FOGGY MORNING

FOGGY MORNING

FOGGY MORNING

2 Corinthians 5:7 ” We live by faith not by sight.”

Living without the Holy Spirit is like living in a fog.- nothing is clear. The light is dispersed- driving and flying can be dangerous.  With the Holy Spirit, our days can be clear and sunny and bright.

John 8:12 ” When Jesus spoke again to the people, He said, I am the light of the world. Whoever follows Me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”

Pray for guidance from the Holy Spirit, that He will go before us in every situation.

Ephesians 5:14 ” For it is light that makes everything visible. This is why it is said, “Wake up, O sleeper, rise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.”

Through our time with Jesus many things can be made to be seen clearly; we able to make better plans, decisions, etc. The sun disperses the fog when we let the light of the Son into our lives; the light disperses the darkness.

SEE THE EVIDENCE

SEE THE EVIDENCE

SEE THE EVIDENCE

Luke 7:56 ” Jesus said to the woman, “Your faith has saved you; go in peace.”

Jesus gave believers the Holy Spirit inside of them, so that we can see the evidence that He is. As  Christians, everywhere we look, we see that He is.

When we see the sun rising, in the east, we know God is on watch for us.

When we see the stars, on a dark night, we know God is in control.

When we see a full moon, on a clear night, we can feel His peace over us.

John 10:29 “Then Jesus told him (Thomas),”Because you have seen me you have believed; Blessed are those who have not seen me and yet have believed.”

BE YE SALT LIGHT

BE YE SALT AND LIGHT

BE YE SALT & LIGHT

Matthew 5:13 ” You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled on by men.”

Salt is a preservative and a flavoring, found all over the earth, for man & animals to use. All living things need salt. Without salt nothing lives.

The scene: The Lamp: Salt and light represent God’s people, living among non-believers.

Matthew 5:14 ” You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden.

Light eliminates darkness so people can see clearly. Believers show non-believers the way to live for Jesus and the way from sin (darkness). God’s people can shine and represent the Light (Jesus) to the World.

Matthew 5:16 ” Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on a stand, it gives light to everyone in the house. In this same way, let your light shine before men that they may see your good deeds (works, KJV) and praise your Father in heaven.”

Without God’s people in this world there is darkness, chaos & anarchy, a depraved generation.

GOD LOVES YOU

GOD LOVES YOU

GOD LOVES YOU

Jesus came for you.

John 3:16 ” For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life.”

The Scene: God loves you is shown being carved from quarried limestone. Limestone is very hard, durable and weathers well (long lasting).

Isaiah 51:1: ” Listen to me you who pursue righteousness and who seek the Lord; Look to the rock from which you were cut and to the quarry from which you were hewn.”

God’s love is rock solid and Jesus is the Rock of our salvation.

ROMANS 5:8 ” But God demonstrates his own love for us in this; while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

A GODLESS LAND IS DRY

A GODLESS LAND IS DRY

A GODLESS LAND IS DRY

Ezekiel 33:29 ” Then they will know that I am the Lord, when I have made the land a desolate waste because of all the detestable things they have done.”

The Scene:A dry creek bed representing people & nations that have rejected God, His living Word and who cursed Israel.

Genesis 12:2-3 ” I will make you into a great nation and I will bless you: I will make your name (Abram) great, and you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you and whoever curses you I will curse; and all people on earth will be blessed through you.”

Many nations and lands are in severe drought (many years) because of their sin, rejection of God and His Word.  Wisdom comes to those who know God and His living Word and obey Him.

GIFTS FROM GOD

GIFTS FROM GOD

GIFTS FROM GOD

Lamentations 3:22 ” Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassion never fails.” (v.23) ” They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness, I say to myself, the Lord is my portion; therefore I will wait for him.”

A basket full of fruit represents a gift from God; He gives us everything we need, especially His Son, Jesus Christ. He gives of Himself.

The Lord is good, His mercy abounds us every day. Be thankful.

Ephesians 5:8-9 ” For you were once darkness, but now you are light for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth”

CORNERSTONE

CORNERSTONE

CORNERSTONE

Amos 7:7-8  This is what the Lord showed me: The Lord was standing by a wall that had been built true to plumb, with a plumb line in his hand. And the Lord asked me, ” What do you see, Amos?””A plumb line,” I replied. Then the Lord said, “I am setting a plumb line among my people Israel; I will spare them no longer.”

For the true Christian, finding the Cornerstone (Jesus) & laying a firm foundation, based on God’s Word (the Holy Bible) is essential. However, to reach maturity (in order to build a strong house/temple so that the Holy Spirit can dwell therein) one must have more than just the Cornerstone laid. Building tools, like the plumb bob and carpenter’s rule are required to build (complete and grow up spiritually) the structure.

Plumb Line: A cord  attached to the bob; being held by Father God’s hand.

Plumb-bob: A lead device that is attached to the plumb line, used for determining perpendicularity, representing  Jesus–the Head

Carpenter’s rule/square: Used to measure a distance on an object and has two straight edges attached at right angles;  representing God’s laws (the Ten Commandments) used to keep the structure in square.

PEACE LIKE A RIVER

PEACE LIKE A RIVER

PEACE LIKE A RIVER

John 14:27 ” Peace I leave with you; My peace I give you. I do not  give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.”

The Scene: 1) RIVER: Represents living water, the living Word of God;

2) ISLAND: Located in the middle of the river gives protection to the Church;

3) CHURCH: Represents God’s people;

4) STONES:  Seven rocks that represent the way to Jesus; requires passing through the Living Water, the Word. The number seven is the biblical number for completion and perfection.

God’s people can find peace, when trouble is all around, by coming to the place where they can hear from God. making it harder for  the enemy (Satan) to reach them. It is then that Christians can truly have peace like a river, that passes all understanding.

Colossians 3:15 ” Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace.”
