2 Kings 4:6 ” When all the jars were full , she said to her son, “Bring me another one.” But he replied, ” There is not a jar left.” Then the oil stopped flowing.”

The world says you can see your glass as half full or half empty, or you can have a glass (vessel) full to overflowing, through God’s grace.  Oil represents the presence of the Holy Spirit inside the believer in Jesus Christ.  God desires for His sons and daughters to be filled with His Spirit.

2 Corinthians 1:5 ” For just as the sufferings of Christ flow over into our lives, so also through Christ our comfort overflows.”

DIVINE PROTECTION (The fear of the Lord)

Job 1:10 ” Have you not put a hedge  around him and his household and everything he has?”

The fear of the Lord provides safety– Satan cannot do anything unless God allows it. Pray daily for a hedge of protection around yourself, family, loved ones.

Psalm 46:1-2 ” God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble , therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea.”

Our God is faithful to those who love Him. He gave His only Son, that we might have eternal life.

Proverbs 14:26 ” He who fears the Lord has a secure fortress and for his children it will be a refuge.”

GIVE US, O LORD (A hunger for your Word)

John 6:35 ” Then Jesus declared, ” I am the bread of life. He who comes to me will never go hungry, he who believes in me will never be thirsty.”

The Lord has provided a way for people to take in His Holy Word every day, nourishment for our souls from  the bread of life. The table is there, the bread is ready, all that is required is action to receive Him as the true bread from heaven.  This means that anyone who chooses can become born again from heaven, with the assurance of salvation through belief in Jesus Christ as the only Son of God.  He came to make dead people live through His sacrifice on the cross and His resurrection from the dead.

John 6:51 ” I am the living bread that came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever. This bread is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.”

Psalm 11:1 ” In the Lord I have refuge. How then can you say to me: “Flee like a bird to your mountain?”

The strong right arm looms like a mountain, in our time of need. We flee to His safety, for He has proven faithful to our plight.

Isaiah 41:10 ” So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you: I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

Psalm 136:12 ” with a mighty hand and outstretched arm; His love endures forever.”

John 14:27(Amplified) ” Peace I leave with you; My (own) peace I now give and bequeath to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid- Stop allowing yourselves to be agitated and disturbed and do not permit yourselves to be fearful and intimidated and cowardly and unsettled.”

SCENE: Peaceful tropical beach, the water gently lapping at the sandy shore and the sun shining with perfect temperature.

John 16:33(Amplified) ” I have told you these things, so that you in Me you may have perfect peace and confidence. In this world you have tribulation and trial and distress and frustration; but be of good cheer- I have overcome the world- I have deprived it of power to harm you, have conquered it (for you).”

Isaiah 32:17(Amplified) ” And the effect of righteousness shall be peace (internal & external) and the result of righteousness shall be quietness, and confident trust forever.”

Psalm 139:23-24 ” Search me, O God, and know my heart. Test me and know my anxious thoughts-See if there is any offensive way in me and lead me in the way everlasting.” (AMEN!)

Our God is the keeper, changer of our hearts. Only He knows our motives, attitudes, what is really in our hearts.

1Thessalonians 2:4 ” On the contrary, we speak as men approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel. We are not trying to please men but God, who tests our hearts.”

Speak the truth,in love He says.” Always!

Revelation 1:18 ” I AM the Living One, I was dead and behold I AM alive forever & ever: I hold the keys of death and Hades:

Jesus cannot begin to change peoples’ hearts until they are open to receive Him.

No one can be saved until they have the right key. Hearts cannot be opened without the The Key (JESUS).

Matthews 16:19“I will give you the keys to the Kingdom of  Heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in Heaven and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in Heaven.”

THE POWER OF THE CROSS

ICorinthians1:18 ” For the message about the Cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are saved it is the power of God.”

Luke10:19 “I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all power of the enemy; nothing will harm you.”

God has given all power under heaven to us. We have the power of the Holy Spirit, His Word, His Son and the Cross.
