THE RIGHT ANSWER

THE RIGHT ANSWER

THE RIGHT ANSWER

Proverbs 2:6-9 ” For the Lord gives wisdom, and from his mouth come knowledge and understanding. He holds victory in store for the upright, he is a shield to those whose walk is blameless, for he guards the course of the just and protects the way of the faithful ones. Then you will understand what is right and just and fair–every good path.”

DEFINITIONS According to Noah Webster’s 1828 Dictionary:

FAIR: has many connotations; that is, to imply fairness. These include; equity, honesty, candid, favorable. FAIR in the NIV appears 9 times, mostly speaking about the weather. Only 3 times is fair used in the moral sense. FAIRNESS is used only once.

Proverbs 1:1,3” The proverbs of Solomon son of David, king of Israel: for acquiring a disciplined and prudent life,for doing what is right and just and fair;

JUST: exactly, full, complete, straight, true, honest, conforming to law, rectitude* and vindictive retribution, as in a jail sentence, maybe.Just appears 219 times speaking mostly in the content of “Just as…” In the moral sense only a few times. Justice appears 134 times always used in the moral sense.

Psalm 37:30 ” The mouth of the righteous man utters wisdom, and his tongue speaks what is just.

*RECTITUDE: In the moral sense; right, straight, (literally), exact conformity to truth.,”Perfect rectitude belongs only to the Supreme Being.” (God)

Therefore, God deals with justice. God’s Word says That God cannot lie. No shades of gray; Only right or wrong.

Jesus came to save sinners and deals with us through His own heart, in mercy and grace, to those who believe and trust in Him. Those who do not believe that Jesus is the Son of God are treated with Justice.

So back the question, when we pray, speaking to God about a situation; Do we ask for fairness or justice? How do we want God to treat us? How do we want God to treat others? How should we pray?, fairness or justice? I think the right answer is, it depends on the situation. Therefore, ask the Holy Spirit to handle the situation, as He sees best and leave the consequences to Him.

Ephesians 5:15-17″ Be very careful, then, how you live- not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is.”

See 1 Chronicles 21:10 to see how King David handled his situation, when given judgement choices by Father God.

BE YE ONE

BE YE ONE

                                            BE YE ONE

Zechariah 14:9 ” The Lord will be king over the whole earth. On that day there will be one Lord, and his name the only name.”

The Scene: The way is narrow, but for  true believers, who will do what God tells them to do, the way will be made smooth.

ONE Spirit lives inside those who have accepted Jesus as Lord and Savoir, who are of ONE mind–the mind of Christ. They serve ONE Master, Jesus the Christ. Believers belong to ONE true Church, have ONE Savior, Jesus, ONE God the Father.  They have ONE home, heaven and have chosen to travel via the Way, the ONE and only way.

Isaiah 26:7-8 “The path of righteousness is level; O upright One, You make the way of the righteous smooth.  Yes, Lord, walking in the way of your laws, we wait for you; your name and renown are the desire of our hearts.”

OUR PORTION

OUR PORTION

                                             OUR PORTION

Psalm 16:5-6  ” Lord, you have assigned me my portion and my cup; you have made my lot secure. The boundary lines have fallen for me in pleasant places; surely I have a delightful inheritance.”

To each person has been given his/her portion; our cup is filled to overflowing with God’s gifts to us. They include our talents, which God expects us to use for His glory, with the help of the Holy Spirit, whom He gave to us for help and guidance.

1 Corinthians 7:7  “I wish that all men were as I (Paul) am. But each man has his own gifts from God; one has one gift, another has his.”

Let us be diligent about using our gifts for God’s glory, daily.  Ask for divine appointments and for the Holy Spirit to direct our steps, daily.

THE POWER OF LIVING WATER

THE POWER OF LIVING WATER

                               THE POWER OF LIVING WATER

Revelation 7:17-18  ” For the Lamb at the center of the throne will be their Shepherd; He will lead them to springs of living water. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.”

The Scene: Inside the mill, work is being accomplished as the grinding wheel turns. The power to drive the wheel comes from the stream of water outside the mill. God gives us power through His Word, which He has called living water.

Jesus says in His word, “Ask in My name,as you pray.”

Psalm 65:9 ” You care for the land and water it; you enrich it abundantly. The streams of God are filled with water to provide the people with grain, for so you have ordained it”

The food for our spirit comes to us from God’s Holy Word and feeds us as we grow into maturity, if we will allow it to change us.

Psalm 29:3 ” The voice of the Lord is over the water; the Lord thunders over the mighty waters.”

HIS PROMISES

HIS PROMISES

                                         HIS PROMISES

Acts 2:39 “The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off– for all whom the Lord our God will call.”

The scene: 1) a bog: any natural soft waterlogged ground. 2) Seven stepping stones which represents God’s promises. Seven is the Bible number for revelation, perfection and fullness; for if we stay on the right path (narrow way) we can gain our objective, eternal life with God, and serve Him!

In life people may get bogged down, created by situations that cause anxiety and depression, loss of hope. But God, in His wisdom, left us His promises, which are new every morning, to help us through (not around) whatever is giving us grief. Some say there are over 7,000 promises in the Word of God!

James 1:22” Do not merely listen to the Word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says.”

The Holy Spirit has been given to us through a promise for guidance.

John 16:13 ” But when he the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you in all truth. He will not speak on His own, he will tell you what is yet to come.”

Proverbs 6:20, 23 ” My Son keep your Father’s commands and do not forsake your mother’s teaching. For these commands are a lamp, this teaching is a light, and the corrections are the way to life.”

YE ARE SALT

YE ARE SALT

                                              YE ARE SALT

Colossians 4:6 ” Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone.”

The Scene: Salt-Himalayan salt (of a color other than white)

Salt is a preservative. If God’s people were withdrawn from the world, order would not be preserved. Preservative represents the good influence of His people.

Salt is necessary for our bodies to function properly; the brain will not work without salt. The human brain cells need electrolytes.  Nerve cells are the electrical system of the brain and won’t work without salt. Salt ions are positively charged and cause nerve cells to open (send signals) to the body and throughout the brain.

Salt is a natural element created by God.

Salt controls blood pressure and blood volume. It is an anti-inflammatory when inhaled and regulates water content inside the cells of the body, where it cleanses toxic waste and  manages cell metabolism.

Just like the human race,  salt comes in many shades and is  found all over the world. God’s Word says His people are as salt, but comes with a warning:

Matthew 5:13 ” You are the salt of the earth, but if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled  by men.”

So God’s people are told to not let worldliness creep into their lives lest they become corrupted. So it is important that true believers of the Word  pay attention to all we take in via the media, thoughts from either God’s Spirit or the enemy of our souls, and the people with which we interact.

Just as natural salt, we, God’s people, can contribute to the good health of the world through our actions and words. We are as salt.

TRUST IN ME, FEAR NOT

TRUST IN ME, FEAR NOT

                                TRUST IN ME, FEAR NOT

Romans 15:4 ” For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through endurance and encouragement of the scriptures we might have hope.”

The Scene:1)Person in the tunnel: represents the born again, true believers in this dark world.

2) Dark tunnel: represents sin in the world.

3) Light: at the end of the tunnel: God’s Light.

To much of this world these are the darkest days ever. But the Lord tells us, “Fear not!” Be filled with His hope. He is coming back for His people, as He said He would, and that day is not far off.

We are to stand and be courageous, be steadfast in our faith, trusting in His Word, which is always true. He is faithful.

1 Peter 5:10-11 “And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast. To him be the power for ever and ever . Amen.”

Think of all the positive, helpful answers, we have received, from to our prayers. Count them, list them, remember them. Give thanks. Think of the letter “T” as in trust and true, for He is. The letter “T” looks like Greek letter Tau and the Greek cross…For our God is true to his Word and we must trust Him, always!

BE NOT DECEIVED

BE NOT DECEIVED

                                              BE NOT DECEIVED

2 John:7  ” Many deceivers, who do not acknowledge Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh, have gone out into the world. Any such person is the deceiver and the antichrist.”

Acts Chapter 22:12-13   Tells of an Ananias who was a devout observer of the Law, a pious man  (the name means “Yahweh has been gracious”). Another man with the same name,  Ananias, in  Acts was a deceiver:  Read vv.1-2.

So it is with our lives; everything is not necessarily as it appears to our human eyes. We are called to be careful of what we observe.  Believers in Jesus the Christ (Messiah) and in His true Word have been given the Holy Spirit, living inside us, to guide us and  to give right understanding, to not be deceived by the evil one.  If we listen to the Holy Spirit, deception cannot enter into our minds.

At first glance, the picture may look like a flag with a star burst in the center, or maybe, a flag with a gaping hole in it.  Or it might be a broken window or something else imagined.

Galatians 6:7-8  “Do not be deceived:  God cannot be mocked.  A man reaps what he sows.  The one who sows to please his sinful nature, from that nature will reap destruction; the one who sows to please his Spirit, from the Spirit, will reap eternal life.”

PRAYER WARRIORS (GOD’S AMMO)

PRAYER WARRIORS

PRAYER WARRIORS (GOD’S PEOPLE), GOD’S AMMO

2 Thessalonians 3:1-2  ” Finally, brothers, pray for us that the message of the Lord may spread rapidly and be honored, just as it was with you.  And pray that we might be delivered from  wicked and evil men, for not everyone has faith.”

God uses His people in the army of the Lord.

The  Scene

1) Cartridges: representing God’s people (the elect), standing erect in the  open box, ready for use, by God.

2) Bullets: The bullets have been refined by fire into hardened steel.

3) Box: represents God’s protection which also keeps the bullets together (not scattered about), being as one body, (the Church).

4) Five Bullets: representing the 5 fold ministry. Ephesians 4:11 ” It was he (Jesus) who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers.”

Psalm 4:3 ” Know that the Lord has set apart the godly for himself. The Lord will hear when I call to him.”

SIGNALS FROM THE MASTER

                            SIGNALS FROM THE MASTER

Proverbs 4:11  ” I guide you in the way of wisdom and lead you along straight paths.”

The scene: 1) House: represents the believers’ bodies. 2) Antenna: represents their minds and hearts (receivers). 3)  Roof– our covering from God. 4)  Rain gutters– to catch God’s Living Water (His Word).

The bodies of true believers of Jesus Christ house the Holy Spirit. He dwells within us. Our spiritual antenna, like the one on this house, must always be ready to receive and be available to receive the messages and guidance (signals) from our Lord.

Psalm 25:9 ” He guides the humble in what is right and teaches them his way.”

It is through our spiritual antenna that the Holy Spirit gives us guidance and wisdom from above.

Psalm 46:10 ” Be still and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will exalted in the earth.”

Proverbs 1:5 ” Let the wise listen and add to their learning, and let the discerning get guidance.”
