ENDUED

ENDUED WITH POWER

Psalm 89:13 “Your arm is endued with power. Your hand is strong, your right hand is exalted.”

“We will endure forever, for He is with us, His mighty right hand will guide and protect us forever,” says the Holy Spirit. We have God’s power through His great and precious promises.

E-N-D-U-E-D To be endowed with… (power); to put on, to clothe. (Merriam-Webster) We, too, have been endued with God’s power through His Holy Spirit to do God’s works and to establish His kingdom here on earth.

Psalm 118:14 ” The Lord is my strength and my song. He has become my salvation.”

HE IS FAITHFUL

HE IS FAITHFUL

Proverbs 3:5 ” Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him and he will make your way straight.”

In this scene, The skydiver is depending on the hands of someone who packed his chute correctly (usually his own hands). God provides the winged parachute to guide us when we fall (fail). God will make it right, if we try to do the right things, asking for His help. We can put our complete trust in God!

Isaiah 12:2 ” Surely God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid. The Lord, the Lord, is my strength and my song; He has become my salvation.”

I AM ALWAYS WITH YOU

I AM ALWAYS WITH YOU

John 3:8 ” The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.”

Like the wind we cannot see the Holy Spirit, but we can see and feel the effects of His presence. The sail of the boat is billowing out filled with the wind, representing God’s Holy Spirit filled people. The boat has no helmsman nor rudder, you’ll note.” The boat is sailing with the wind, therefore is most efficient. Spiritually speaking we can be the helmsman and control the rudder. We may chose to “tack” back and forth, utilizing energy and time to our own detriment, in our spiritual walk.
Much better to let the Holy Spirit lead us in the way should go….

Acts 2:1-2 ” When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Suddenly a sound like a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting.”

The people were filled with the Holy Spirit, who lives inside each person who has accepted Jesus, into their hearts, as Lord and Savior. He is always with us.

TROUBLED TIMES

TROUBLED TIMES

John 16:33” I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”

Believers in the Lord Jesus Christ are called to stay on the” straight and narrow road” However, in this world believers find the way cluttered with debris (sin); the highway of life can be dangerous and the flyover is the way to destruction. Our heavenly Father however, is good and promises “to never leave us or forsake us.”

Joshua 1:5 ” No one will be able to stand up against you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you.”

Jesus tells believers over and over, He is our divine helper in times of need.

Isaiah 30:21 “ Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you saying, This is the way, walk in it.”

GOOD HEARTS

GOOD HEARTS

Luke 8:15 ” But the seed (The Word of God) on good soil stands for those with a noble and good heart, who hear the Word, retain it, and by persevering (exhibit patience) produce a crop (fruitfulness).”

1John 4:10” This is love: not that we love God but that He loves us and sent His Son (Jesus) as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.”

THE SCENE:

JESUS’ HEART: Whose blood was shed for His people.

BLOOD DROPLETS: Appearing as seeds, falling on good ground.

THE CROP: Produced, brings forth fruitful plants.

HEART SHAPED FLOWERS: Represent God’s people (those who love Him.) and have been fruitful. (Galatians 5:22-23)

DRAW NEAR TO GOD(Be reconciled to Him)

John 6:44 ” No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him, and I will raise him up at the last day.

Colossians 1:19-20a “ for God was pleased to have all His fullness dwell in Him, and through Him to reconcile to Himself all things…”

It is only through the cross, and Jesus’ blood, that we can be drawn to God based on the love of our heavenly Father God.

1 Timothy 2:3-4 This is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants all men to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.

A FORGIVING GOD

A FORGIVING GOD (Strong to save…)

Job 14:17 ” My offenses will be sealed up in a bag; You will cover over my sin.”

Many people think they are lost because of their life of sin.” Not So!”, says our God. For God sent us His only Son.

SCENE:

BAGS: (30 in all) in many colors, represent the peoples of the world, huddled around the base of the cross.

30: The number of pieces of silver paid for Jesus’ life. The number 30 stands for The Blood of Christ.

Colossians 2:13-15 ” When you were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of your sinful nature, God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins, having canceled the written code, with its regulations, that was against us and that stood opposed to us: (Jesus) took it away, nailed it to the cross.” This promise was written to the church @ Colossae, believers in Jesus Christ. The promise is for all true believers in Him, the only Son of God the Father.

STRETCHING OUR FAITH

James.1:3 ” Because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance . Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete not lacking anything.”

As long as we live we will be tested, to make us strong in our faith.

James.5:11 “As you know, we consider blessed those who have persevered. You have heard of Job’s perseverance and have seen what the Lord finally brought about. The Lord is full of compassion and mercy.”

He restored Job fully. When our faith is stretched, we can learn of God’s will for our lives and have the opportunity to grow in sanctification. Sanctification is the process of our character becoming like God’s, purified, freed from sin, holy.

JESUS IS THE KEY

JESUS IS THE KEY

Revelation 1:18 ” I AM the Living One, I was dead and behold I AM alive forever & ever: I hold the keys of death and Hades:

Jesus cannot begin to change peoples’ hearts until they are open to receive Him.

No one can be saved until they have the right key. Hearts cannot be opened without the The Key (JESUS).

Matthews 16:19“I will give you the keys to the Kingdom of Heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in Heaven and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in Heaven.”

BRIDGING THE GAP

BRIDGING THE GAP (BE ENCOURAGERS)

Hebrews 3:13 “But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called today, so that none of you may be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness.

As Christians we are called upon to reach out and help our brothers & sisters-in-Christ, who have reached an impasse and cannot get past the problems they encounter.

Like the river raft that can provide a way across the river, which represents peoples’ problems, we can help them get past the impasses in their lives by through offering them unconditional love, prayer & action.

John 15:13” Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends. (v.17) ” This is My command: love each other.”
