MY NAME (JEHOVAH, EL SHADDAI)

MY NAME (JEHOVAH, EL SHADDAI)

                         MY NAME (JEHOVAH, EL SHADDAI)

Exodus 6:2 ” God also said to Moses, “I am the Lord. I appeared to Abraham, to Isaac and to Jacob as God Almighty, but my name the Lord I did not make myself known to them.”

God is telling Moses that until then God had been known to his forefathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob as Jehovah (Creator), but now, to Moses, He is saying I am the Lord ,that is, (El Shaddai) meaning: God is all sufficient for you–a God that is enough for you. Now do as I ask. I’ll be backing you up all the way!

The Scene: 1) The circle: Represents God as Creator. He is complete within Himself.

2) Infinity symbol: God is faithful forever.

3) Rainbow colors: Represent His promises. The rainbow prism of colors is infinite as He is infinite in His Word is to us.

4) The Ring, represented by the circle: A wedding band, Jesus’ wedding band for His bride (The Church)

NOTE: The infinity symbol inside the circle resembles a pair of eyes, God’s omniscience…

Names are important to God. They have real meaning. He gave Jesus His name before He was born. Jesus’ name means Savior, our Savior!

John 8:58 “I tell you the truth,” Jesus answered, before Abraham was born, I am.”

I AM, being “I will be what I will be.”

Revelation 1:17b-18a ” “Do not be afraid. I am the First and the Last. I am the Living One;”
