ALMIGHTY GOD

Job 26:7-8 “He spreads out the northern skies over empty space; he suspends the earth over nothing. He wraps up the waters in his clouds, yet the clouds do not burst under their weight.”

The Scene:  God’s creation–sun, clouds, earth created for His glory. The light of His glory shines behind the clouds and spills forth, all around.

Acts 17:27 “God did this so that men would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from each one of us.”

Of his omniscience:

Psalm 19:1-2” The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they display knowledge.”

Of His divine power:

Psalm 62:2-3  “I have seen you in the sanctuary and beheld your power and your glory.  Because your love is better than life, my lips will glorify you.”

Mark 4:39” He got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, ‘Quiet! Be still!’ Then the wind died down and it was completely calm.'” (Jesus, the Son of God, speaking)

Hebrews 11:3  “By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God’s command, so that what is seen was not made out of what is visible.”                          

Romans 9:20-21  He is Almighty God:

“But who are you, O man, to talk back to God?  Shall what is formed say to him who formed it, ‘Why did you make me like this?  Does not the potter have the right to make out of the same lump of clay some pottery for noble purposes and some for common use?'”

Job 26:14” And these are but the outer fringe of his works; how faint the whisper we hear of him!  Who then can understand the thunder of his power?”

Every day we can look around and see God’s hand at work.
