JUDGE NOT

                                                                   JUDGE NOT

Matthew 7:1-2 “Judge not or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”

The Scene: A ruler; a measuring device.

Man measures others by his own ruler. Man places judgment on people based on man’s understanding, his own corrupt heart.

Romans 2:1-2 “You, therefore, have no excuse, you who pass judgment on someone else, for at whatever point you judge others, you are condemning yourself, because you who pass judgment do the same things. Now we know God’s judgment against those who do such things is based on truth.”

Man’s judgment is based on his own heart, his earthly flesh.

1 John 3:19-20 “ This then is how we know that we belong to the truth, and how we set our hearts at rest in his presence whenever our hearts condemn us. For God is greater than our hearts, and he knows everything.”

If we, God’s children, live in love and truth, obey His commands and do those things that are pleasing to Him, we can live in confidence before God and will receive blessings from Him.
