REFLECTION
1 Corinthians 13:12 “Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.”
The Scene: A free-standing mirror that allows God’s children to see their spiritual immaturity at first and later to see, as mature ones, the reflection of the Lord’s glory.
2 Corinthians 3:18 “And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.”
Even born-again Christians are not fully mature, spiritually. The Lord says, ‘One day my people’s hearts will reflect Me.’
Proverbs 27:19 ” As water reflects a face, so a man’s heart reflects the man.”
We are all called upon to reflect on what the Holy Spirit says to each of us.
2 Timothy 2:7 “Reflect on what I am saying, for the Lord will give you insight into all this.”
