GOD’S MERCY AND GRACE

GOD'S MERCY AND GRACE

GOD’S MERCY AND GRACE *

1 Peter 1:3-5 “Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade–kept in heaven for you, who through faith are shielded by God’s power until the coming of the salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time.”

The Scene: Two bottles of grape juice or wine** one full, the other empty and a full glass of either.

SYMBOLISM:

  •  full glass: Jesus’ shed blood given for  believers in Jesus Christ the Son of God, Savior.
  • empty bottle: the world will always let us down and condemn the children of God.
  • full bottle: God’s mercy and grace; whenever we need help we can imbibe His mercy and grace, which is always available to believers, when they pray to our Father God in Jesus’ mighty name. 2 Corinthians 12:9 “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.

*He is Jehovah Tsidkenu (our Righteousness)

** May be grape juice or wine based on the reader preference: the Holy Spirit does not want to offend anyone reading His Word because the Spirit is the teacher of the Word of God.
