BE FED II

BE FED II

Psalm 95:6 “Come, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the Lord our Maker.”

The Scene: A plant not yet bloomed; symbolic of God’s born-again children– the ground around the plant has been stirred to loosen the soil that is to receive the nutrients, being poured from the scoop, held in the hand of the Lord. The fork represents peoples’ worship. The nutrients are the Word of God.

With the help of the Holy Spirit and His Word the flower one day will bloom. So, we can ask ourselves, “Why does Father God want us to worship and praise Him? Does He really need us to?” We know that when our heavenly Father desires something of us it is for our own good. And He rewards all who diligently seek Him.

Hebrews 11:6 “And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.” Worship is like a stirring of the soil; it prepares us for what is to come. The nutrients of God’s Word feed our souls and spirits, which in turn causes us to grow spiritually into mature Christians.
