Psalm 139:11-14 “If I say, ‘ Surely the darkness will hide me and the light become night around me,’ even the darkness will not be dark to you; the night will shine like the day, for darkness is as light to you. For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.”
The Scene: An earthen cave, dark within, but with the light of our God shining into the cave, from its entrance, to show the way out.
Sometimes as we walk out our lives in this world, we think we’re walking through a darkened cave with little or no light to show us our way out of the current situation which has created the darkness. Those souls who belong to Jesus–the born-again children of God, can depend on Him to show us the straight and narrow path we must follow.
Psalm 139:8-10 “If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there. If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea, even there your hand will guide me, your right hand will hold me fast.”
There is no place we can go where our Lord is not with us–praise His name, Jesus!
Proverbs 15:3 “The eyes of the Lord are everywhere, keeping watch on the wicked and the good.”
