Ephesians 2:14 ” For he himself is our peace, who has made the two one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility, by abolishing in his flesh the law with its commandments and regulations. His purpose was to create in himself one new man out of the two, thus making peace.”

The Scene: A fence or wall–a barrier erected by fearful people.

People build fences or barriers,* both physical and mental, quickened the Holy Spirit. “They try to close themselves in and the world out; at the same time they have closed out the great I AM. John 1:11 “He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him.” *Barriers are erected because of social status, religion, ethnic background, etc.

John 16:33 “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
