CONTRASTS II

CONTRASTS II

Romans 13:12 “The night is nearly over; the day is almost here. So let us put aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light.”

The Scene: Contrasts represented by, scarlet (sin) and white (righteousness).

Where righteousness resides the darkness cannot prevail.

Genesis 1:4 “God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness.” (A type and shadow)

Ephesians 5:8 “For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light.”

Isaiah 1:18 ” ‘Come now, let us reason together.’ says the Lord. ‘Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool.’ “

Matthew 6:22-23 ” The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are good, you whole body will be full of light. But if your eyes are bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light within you is darkness’s, how great is that darkness!”

Spiritual blindness leaves a person exposed to the enemy, Satan. We are called to stay in the light. Read God”s Word daily. Call on the Holy Spirit to guide you in all righteousness.
