Luke 12:32-34 “Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father has been pleased to give you the kingdom. Sell your possessions and give to the poor. Provide purses for yourselves that will not wear out, a treasure in heaven that will not be exhausted, where no thief comes near and no moth destroys. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”
The Scene: A leather money pouch or purse filled with money and a green mist surrounding the purse representing greed–controlled by a spirit of whoredoms (or greed, which is idolatry).
1 Timothy 6:6,9-10 “But godliness with contentment is great gain. People who want to get rich fall into temptation and a trap and into many foolish and harmful desires that plunge men into ruin and destruction. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.”
Saints, pray for the Church. Bind the spirit of whoredoms (Hosea 4:12 KJV) in the name of Jesus; loose the Spirit of God in the name of Jesus for the Church. We are called to be a people of salt and light, called to share with the needy when we have been given more than enough.
Leviticus 25:35 “If one of your countrymen becomes poor and is unable to support himself among you, help him as you would an alien or a temporary resident, so he can continue to live among you.”
