Psalm 121:1-2 “I lift up my eyes to the hills–where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.”
The Scene: See the yellow bulldozer working on clearing, leveling the narrow gravel roadway from debris. The driver, Jesus, clears the roadway while the road grader, following behind the bulldozer, smooths the surface.
The Holy Spirit clarifies that Father God, the architect of the narrow road (Godly rules, commandments, covenants) Jesus and the Holy Spirit (our Helper) goes before us on the narrow road, clearing the way for us.
If we ask the Lord Jesus Christ for His help, He will see that we get through any situation and we can stay peaceful to watch God work on our behalf.
Isaiah 30:21 “Whether you turn to your right or to your left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, ‘This is the way; walk in it.’ “
Isaiah 42:16 “I will lead the blind by ways they have not known, along unfamiliar paths I will guide them; I will turn the darkness into light before them and make the rough places smooth. These are the things I will do; I will not forsake them.”
We need not fear anything, though having concerns, so long as we listen to the Lord God following His voice.
Hebrews 13:6 “So we say with confidence, ‘The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?’ “
