About hsvisions

Born again at about 16 yrs. of age (1957) Baptized in the Holy Spirit (1977) I was given my first vision while attending a men's christian weekend (Cursillo) in 1978, on my birthday. Since that time I began recording these Holy Spirit visits (visions) and began illustrating them many years ago. The messages from the Holy Spirit are primarily forthtelling-edification- for the body of Christ here on earth. Many of these message reveal what God is like, many are given to let the Church know Him, and that He is always with us. Kathy was baptized in the Holy Spirit in 1977, three days before I received the baptism. Kathy is our Editor and proof reader.

HIS POWER

HIS POWER.jpg

HIS POWER

Job 42:2 “I know that you can do all things; no plan of yours can be thwarted.”

The Scene: The aftereffects of a nuclear explosion, rising high into the air, thousands of feet and spreading out looking like a very large mushroom cloud–an exhibit of a tremendous release of power. “And yet nothing can compare to my power,” said the Lord.

1 Chronicles 29:11-12 “Yours, O Lord, is the greatness and the power * and the glory and the majesty and the splendor, for everything in heaven and earth is yours. Yours, O Lord, is the kingdom; you are exalted as head over all. Wealth and honor come from you; You are the ruler of all things, in your hands are strength and power to exalt and give strength to all.”*

*A part of King David’s prayer, from 1 Chronicles 29:1-13

DECEIVED

DECEIVED.jpg

Luke 21:8 “He replied: ‘Watch out that you are not deceived. For many will come in my name, claiming, “I am he,” and, “The time is near.” Do not follow them.’ ”

The Scene: A split picture, a vision of the moon first looking full, bright, and smooth. Next is seen a telephoto shot/picture close up showing all the craters, pockmarks, mountains, ridges, a rough surface from meteor hits, etc., the way the moon really appears.

The Holy Spirit explained: “The moon is much like the world; at first seems bright, smooth but the telescope view reveals the real true moon–dull, rough surface.” Also at first the moon seems to have a  self-generated light source.  Closer investigation reveals that the light is  reflected from the sun in our solar system.

Much of what is observed in the world is not as it appears:  seen as good by worldly people, but  seen as evil by Father God, His Son, the Holy Spirit and His children, Christian believers.

As Christians we are called to examine everything for God’s truth. When we allow the Holy Spirit to guide us, we will not be deceived by worldly people.

Obadiah 1:3-4 ” The pride of your heart has deceived you, you who live in the clefts of the rocks and make your home on the heights, you who say to yourself, ‘Who can bring me down to the ground?’  Though you soar like an eagle and make your nest among the stars, from there I will bring you down, declares the Lord.”

When people follow their own hearts, their own flesh, they will be self-deceived. Rather, we are called to follow after the truth which only comes from God.

John 16:13 “But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come. He will bring glory to me by taking from what is mine and making it known to you.”

So pray daily, often as necessary, for God to give you His wisdom, knowledge, understanding, and discernment in all  you do.

SEATED WITH HIM

SEATED WITH HIM

SEATED WITH HIM

Ephesians 2:6-7 ” And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus.”

The Scene: A chair symbolic of God’s heavenly throne.

Through God’s grace and mercy He has made it possible, by His promises, to sit with Him in His heavenly realm–He says so in His Word!

Revelation 3:21-22 “To him who overcomes, I will give the right to sit with me on my throne, just as I overcame and sat down with my Father on His throne.  He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.”

Matthew Henry Commentary tells us, “Christ himself had met with his temptations and conflicts. He overcame them all, and was more than a conquer. Those who are conformed to Christ in his trials and victories shall be conformed to him in his glory.” (published by Zondervan-1960 Edition)

GOD’S MERCY AND GRACE

GOD'S MERCY AND GRACE

GOD’S MERCY AND GRACE *

1 Peter 1:3-5 “Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade–kept in heaven for you, who through faith are shielded by God’s power until the coming of the salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time.”

The Scene: Two bottles of grape juice or wine** one full, the other empty and a full glass of either.

SYMBOLISM:

  •  full glass: Jesus’ shed blood given for  believers in Jesus Christ the Son of God, Savior.
  • empty bottle: the world will always let us down and condemn the children of God.
  • full bottle: God’s mercy and grace; whenever we need help we can imbibe His mercy and grace, which is always available to believers, when they pray to our Father God in Jesus’ mighty name. 2 Corinthians 12:9 “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.

*He is Jehovah Tsidkenu (our Righteousness)

** May be grape juice or wine based on the reader preference: the Holy Spirit does not want to offend anyone reading His Word because the Spirit is the teacher of the Word of God.

HIS HOLY MOUNTAIN

HIS HOLY MOUNTAIN.jpg

HIS HOLY MOUNTAIN

Isaiah 2:3 ” Many peoples will come and say, ‘Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob. He will teach us his ways, so that we may walk in his paths.’ The law will go out from Zion, the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.”

The Scene:  a picture of a mountain, maybe Mt. Zion or Herman* with the Trinity symbolized above the mountain by 3 birds in flight.  *Herman the highest point in the region (over 9000′ high). On the mountain Jesus was transfigured and Father God proclaimed, “This is My Son, whom I love, with Him I Am well pleased, listen to Him!”  See Matthew 17:5ff

Jesus on earth came as the Father’s representative. The strength, power, glory, majesty of God are often mentioned in the Holy Scriptures and tell of the high places where God dwells.

Isaiah 2:2 “In the last days the mountain of the Lord’s temple will be established as chief among the mountains; it will be raised above the hills, and all nations will stream to it.”

We are called to look forward to that day when the bride of Christ will rule and reign with Jesus Christ from His holy mountain.

Psalm 99:9 “Exalt the Lord our God and worship at his holy mountain, for the Lord our God is holy.”

ALMIGHTY GOD

ALMIGHTY GOD.jpg

ALMIGHTY GOD

Psalm 34:9-10 “Fear* the Lord, you his saints, for those who fear him lack nothing. The lions may grow weak and hungry, but those who seek the Lord lack no good thing.”    *FEAR: practical piety, one’s godly character (Unger’s Bible Dictionary)

The Scene: a long row of very large grain storage elevators/silos full of every kind of grain. A sign of “no lack” when asked about God’s** provision for His people.

Psalm 111:5 ” He provides food for those who fear him; he remembers his covenant forever.”

Psalm 144:13 ” Our barns will be filled with every kind of provision. Our sheep will increase by thousands, by tens of thousands in our fields.”

Psalm 65:9 You care for the land and water it; you enrich it abundantly. The streams of God are filled with water to provide the people with grain, for so you have ordained it.”

**Jehovah Jireh: Jehovah will provide; (Unger’s Bible Dictionary)  He is our Almighty God.

DIVIDED

DIVIDED.jpg

DIVIDED

Mark 3:23-24 ” So Jesus called them and spoke to them in parables ‘How can Satan drive out Satan? If a kingdom is divided against itself that kingdom cannot stand.’ ”

The Scene: Someone cannot say he/she is born-again and continue to live in willful sin.

Mark 3:25-26 ” If a house is divided against itself, that house cannot stand. And if Satan opposes himself and is divided, he cannot stand; his end has come.’ ”

There is only one truth–the truth of God. The Holy Spirit  gave Jesus Christ  a divine rebuttal to the Pharisees’ charges, showing Godly wisdom.

Luke 16:13 “No servant can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money. ”

1 Corinthians 10:21 “You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons too; you cannot have a part in both the Lord’s table and the table of demons.”

Double mindedness, a tool of the devil, creates doubt; it is not acceptable to God’s people, nor to God. It pays negative returns. Our eyes are to be straight ahead, looking down the narrow road that leads to eternal life in heaven.

Luke 9:62  “Jesus replied, ‘No one who puts his hand to the plow and looks back is fit for service in the kingdom of God.’ ”

CONTRASTS

CONTRASTS.jpgCONTRASTS

Deuteronomy 30:19-20 “This day I call heaven and earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live and that you may love the Lord your God, listen to his voice, and hold fast to him. For the Lord is your life, and he will give you many years in the land he swore to give to your fathers, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.”

The Scene: A framed picture of a tree which is half full of life and half dead. The fruit shown on the living tree half–symbolic of those who have shown they live for God and are bearing the fruit given them through the Holy Spirit. (see Galatians 5:22 which describes the fruit of the Spirit.)

Jesus offers everyone the tree of life. Some choose life while others choose the tree of death. 2 Corinthians 5:10  says, “For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive what is due him for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad.”

Father God rewards those who by faith diligently seek Him and choose eternal life with Him in heaven.

Hebrews 11:6 ” And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he  rewards those who earnestly seek him.”

Hebrews 9:27  “Just as man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment, so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many people; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.”

POTENTIAL

POTENTIAL

Matthew 13:31-32 “He told them another parable: ‘The Kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and planted in his field. Though it is the smallest of all your seeds, yet when it grows, it is the largest of garden plants and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and perch in its branches.’ ”

The Scene: Sequence of the life of a mustard seed.                                                                    The Christian has to grow into a stalwart in the church  developing spiritually from the seed planted in him by the Holy Spirit at salvation.  At first, as an unsaved person, he is watered by the Word (living water) of God. Then as a youth (young Christian) unlearned, he begins to take root and grow as a seedling, growing spiritually, as he takes nourishment from the water of the Word.

Next, over time, he grows into a tree, an adult (mature Christian) and then develops into a tree of service to others.  He can bear the fruit of the Spirit (See Galatians 5:22) and provide food, shade, and shelter to become a place of peaceful rest and grace.  The             needs of the Church are met through service to others. Through study of God’s Word we show ourselves approved unto God, workmen who do not need to be ashamed, who correctly handle the Word of truth.  (See 2 Timothy 2:15)

FORGIVENESS

FORGIVENESS.jpg

FORGIVENESS

1 Thessalonians 3:12-13 “May the Lord make your love increase and overflow for each other and for everyone else, just as ours does for you. May he strengthen your hearts so that you will be blameless and holy in the presence of our God and Father when our Lord Jesus comes with all his holy ones.”

The Scene: Crossed double-edged swords representing God’s Word, showing His love and forgiveness for us and all sinners, looking like an “X” cancelling out offenses. God gives us His love–agape love, divine love, unconditional love, and forgiveness without merit.

Swords are offensive weapons–these spiritual swords are used to stop the spirit of offense from controlling us in an evil way–sin–which can cause bitterness, resentment, hard feelings among the body of Christ.

Colossians 3:13 ” Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.”

Romans 15:1-2 ” We who are strong ought to bear with the failings of the weak and not to please ourselves. Each of us should please his neighbor for his good, to build him up.”

The mature Christian is to set the example for and teach the youngest, new Christians, just as Jesus Christ our Lord set the example for all of us to follow.
