About hsvisions

Born again at about 16 yrs. of age (1957) Baptized in the Holy Spirit (1977) I was given my first vision while attending a men's christian weekend (Cursillo) in 1978, on my birthday. Since that time I began recording these Holy Spirit visits (visions) and began illustrating them many years ago. The messages from the Holy Spirit are primarily forthtelling-edification- for the body of Christ here on earth. Many of these message reveal what God is like, many are given to let the Church know Him, and that He is always with us. Kathy was baptized in the Holy Spirit in 1977, three days before I received the baptism. Kathy is our Editor and proof reader.

DISCERNMENT

DISCERNMENT

1 Kings 3:9  “So give your servant a discerning heart to govern your people and to distinguish between right and wrong. For who is able to govern this great people of yours?”

The Scene: Discerning heart–see no evil, speak no evil, hear no evil.

Matthew 13:13,15-17 ” This is why I speak to them in parables: ‘Though seeing, they do not see; though hearing, they do not hear or understand. For this people’s heart has become calloused; they hardly hear with their ears, and they have closed their eyes. Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts and turn, and I would heal them. But blessed are your eyes because they see and your ears because they hear. For I tell you the truth, many prophets and righteous men longed to see what you see but did not see it, and hear what you hear but did not hear it.'”

Observation is an important part of discernment–observing the actions of others tells us a lot about their values and hearts.

Philippians 1:10-11 “So that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless until the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ– to the glory and praise of God.”

Psalm 85:8 ” I will listen to what the Lord God will say; he promises peace to his people, his saints–but let them not return to folly.”

God expects His people who have been given His Holy Spirit to discern the spirits and understand good from evil. We must learn to use the tools He has given us.

A PLACE OF REST

A PLACE OF REST.jpg

A PLACE OF REST

Revelation 7:17 ” For the Lamb at the center of the throne will be their shepherd; he will lead them to springs of living water. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.”

The Scene: An oasis, a place of shade and rest.

For the people who are called by His name, Christians, life in this world can be as harsh as the earth’s deserts. But when we spend time with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, it can be like finding an oasis– living water, a place of peace and quiet.

The Lord says,”Think of Me. Find solace*.Enjoy your time with Me. Come sit awhile.”

*Solace: relief, to find comfort, to enjoy and to be relieved.

Psalm 62:1-2 “My soul finds rest in God alone, my salvation comes from him. He alone is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will never be shaken.”

Psalm 33:22 ” May your unfailing love rest upon us, O Lord, even as we put our hope in you.”

MORE PRECIOUS THAN GOLD

MORE PRECIOUS THAN GOLD.jpg

                                      MORE PRECIOUS THAN GOLD

Psalm 19:9-10 “The fear of the Lord is pure, enduring forever. The ordinances of the Lord are sure and altogether righteous. They are more precious than gold, than much pure gold; they are sweeter than honey, than honey on the comb.”

The Scene: Nuggets of pure gold being washed over by the clear mountain stream–the Holy Spirit said to the writer in a dream– “This scene represents the living water of the Word. The Word is more precious than gold.

Psalm 119:127-128  “Because I love your commands more than gold, more than pure gold, and because I consider all your precepts right, I hate every wrong path.”

Wisdom, knowledge and understanding all come from God’s Word, as written in the Holy Bible–a document of God’s Word and commands written down by holy people, scribes putting down on paper/parchment the exact words of God.  See 2 Timothy 3:16.

God’s intent was to leave His word for all mankind, for all time. God intends for His children/ people to read His Word every day, listening to the Holy Spirit, as He speaks to each person–giving instruction and showing them His love and divine presence.

THAT NAME, JESUS!

THAT NAME, JESUS.jpg

                                                    THAT NAME, JESUS

Matthew 11:10“This is the one about whom it is written: ‘I will send my messenger ahead of you, who will prepare your way before you.'”

The Scene: The pen stroked out the name of Jesus.

Philippians 2:9-11 “Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”

His name, Jesus, means:  the Lord saves.

Romans 10:13 “for, ‘Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.'”

John 16:23-24 ” In that day you will no longer ask me anything. I tell you the truth, my Father will give you whatever you ask in my name. Until now you have not asked for anything in my name.  Ask and you will receive, and your joy will be complete.”

For believers speaking out in  that wonderful, mighty name of Jesus, wonders and miracles can happen.

HORNS!

HORNS.jpg

HORNS!

Mark 9:1 ” And he said to them, “I tell you the truth, some who are standing here will not taste death before they see the kingdom of God come with power.”

1 Corinthians 15:51-53 “Listen, I tell you a mystery:  We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed–in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet.  For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed.  For the perishable must clothe itself with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality.”

The Scene: Horns of different types that are mentioned throughout the Holy Scriptures; horns of many kinds were used to gain the attention of the people for various reasons.

Numbers 10:1-2 ” The Lord said to Moses, “Make two trumpets of hammered silver and use them for calling the community together and for having the camp set out.”

The assembly horns were also used as battle horns and to be sounded after Israel’s victories; also as a memorial to God.

Numbers 10: 8-10 “The sons of Aaron, the priests, are to blow the trumpets. This is to be a lasting ordinance for you and the generations to come. When you go into battle in your own land against an enemy who is oppressing you, sound a blast of the trumpets. Then you will be remembered by the Lord your God and rescued from your enemies. Also at your time of rejoicing– your appointed feasts and New Moon festivals– you are to sound the trumpets over your burnt offerings and fellowship offerings, and they will be a memorial for you before your God. I am the Lord your God.”

To  Christians there are horns that have special meaning:  bringing hope and the announcement of our Lord’s return and of His promises to have,  in heaven, eternal life  with Him. God’s people are to rule with Jesus during the millennial  reign.

HOW LONG, O LORD?

HOW LONG O' LORD.jpg

HOW LONG, O LORD?

James 5:7-9 ” Be patient, then, brothers, until the Lord’s coming. See how the farmer waits for the land to yield its valuable crop and how patient he is for the autumn and spring rains. You too, be patient and stand firm, because the Lord’s coming is near. Don’t grumble against each other, brothers, or you will be judged. The Judge is standing at the door!”

The Scene: A farmer waiting for God’s blessing of rain and sunshine, so that his Springtime plantings will grow into mature plants that he will harvest, at  just the right time.

The Lord is with His children at all times. He knows their needs. We have but to praise Him, give Him the glory due His name and thank Him for all He does for us. When we pray He will respond; God loves us unconditionally.

Psalm 79: 5-6  “How long, O Lord?  Will you be angry forever?  How long will your jealousy burn like fire?  Pour out your wrath on the nations that do not acknowledge you, on the kingdoms that do not call on your name; “

Psalm 79:9  “Help us, O God our Savior, for the glory of your name; deliver us and forgive our sins for your name’s sake.”

We can call on Jesus’ name anytime, as followers of Jesus the Christ, the Son of Father God.

HE GOES BEFORE US

HE GOES BEFORE US.jpg

                                                 HE GOES BEFORE US

Job 23:10 ” But he knows the way that I take; when he has tested me, I will come forth as gold.”

The Scene: The reservoir of water represents God’s blessings that come to us through His Word as living water. Ask and you will receive, His Word says in John 16:23. However, the enemy, Satan, comes to kill, steal and destroy (John 10:10).

God allows trials to strengthen us, to refine us as pure as gold.

A break in the reservoir is sometimes allowed.

Isiah 30:20 “Although the Lord gives you the bread of adversity and the water of affliction, your teachers will be hidden no more; with your own eyes you will see them.”

God always shows His children the way through their dilemmas, when they ask Him for His help. He is always available, never too busy. God the Father knows our every need.

Isiah 30:21 “Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying,’This is the way; walk in it.'”

John 16:33 “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”

A PROMISE OF SPRINGTIME

A PROMISE OF SPRINGTIME.jpg

                                                        A PROMISE OF SPRINGTIME

Zechariah 10:1 ” Ask the Lord for rain in the springtime; it is the Lord who makes the storm clouds. He gives showers of rain to men, and plants of the field to everyone.”

The scene: A tree in the wintertime–winter sky.

In this world men’s hearts are cold and dark, like wintertime. But at Jesus’ Second Coming, the Son will  shine  in their hearts, and it will be as springtime*. The trees will bloom and men will gather in the shade of God’s trees and give Him praise.

  • Springtime represents God’s blessings.

Zechariah 3:1o “In that day each of you will invite his neighbor to sit under his vine and fig tree, declares the Lord Almighty.”

THREE NAILS

THREE NAILS.jpg

THREE NAILS

Acts 10:39-40 “We are witnesses of everything he did in the country of the Jews and in Jerusalem. They killed him by hanging him on a tree, but God raised him from the dead on the third day and caused him to be seen.”

The Scene: Three* nails, representing the nails that secured Jesus to the cross. They were also symbols of man’s world of envy, evil, sinfulness.  (See Matthew 27:18)

*3 the Bible number for resurrection and complete.

Jesus died on the cross, His mission on earth  complete. The Holy Spirit’s revelation to this writer concerning the nails: “They were made by man, driven into Jesus’ flesh and cross by man. However, they (man and his world system) could not hold Him.”

He was crucified only because Jesus followed the original plan of Father God. Jesus was obedient to the will of His Father. He died only after He said, “It is finished!” The nails could not hold Him. Jesus was buried and He rose from the grave on the third day so that His followers’ sins could be forgiven and they, too, could be raised from the dead.

Jesus, on Easter morning, was seen by many people so that they and we could be given hope and a promise of eternal life, because of our faith in Him and His sacrificial death and resurrection..

THAT GREAT AWAKENING DAY

THAT GREAT AWAKENING DAY.jpg

THAT GREAT AWAKENING DAY

1 Corinthians 15:49 “And just as we have born the earthly likeness of the earthly man, so shall we bear the likeness of the man from heaven.”

The Scene: The great transformation that will take place on that great day at the last trumpet when glorified saints will rise from the dead and be changed. We cannot enter heaven with our mortal bodies.

1Corinthians 15:50 ” I declare to you, brothers, that flesh and blood cannot enter the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable.”

Having kept the faith, God’s children then can receive rewards– gain eternal life. We must have lived on this earth, praising God and believing in His resurrected Son, Jesus the Christ of Nazareth. Only then can we spend eternity in heaven.

1Corinthians 15:51 “Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but will all be changed–in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed.”

We must follow the pattern set before us–Jesus came to earth, He lived, suffered, died and was resurrected. If we are faithful to God’s calling on our lives, then at the end of our earthly lives, our spirits then will go into the presence of God  for eternity.
