ENRICHED

1 Corinthians 1:5-7  For in him you have been enriched in every way—-in all your speaking and in all your knowledge—-because our testimony about Christ was confirmed in you. Therefore you do not lack any spiritual gift as you eagerly wait for our Lord Jesus Christ to be revealed.

The Scene: Enriched flour which has had its nutrients removed for other uses: then the miller puts the nutrients back into the flour, thus the flour is called “enriched”.

1 Timothy 4:1-2  The Holy Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons. Such teachings come through hypocritical liars, whose consciences have been seared as with a hot iron.

Man, when he enters this world has  God-given, conscience, moral values and ethics stripped away by the world systems of greed and idolatry. For the Christian, however, God’s values and moral fiber have been put into the human spirit  through the indwelling of the Holy Spirit.

Romans 9:1 I speak the truth in Christ—I am not lying, my conscience confirms it in the Holy Spirit.

                                              GOD’S GRACE

1 Timothy 1:14 The grace of our Lord was poured out on me abundantly, along with the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus.

The Scene: A water pitcher full of water, living water from the Lord.  Like the water pouring from the pitcher, God’s grace abounds to those whom He  loves.

Titus 3:4-6  But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of righteous things we have done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior.

                                          HE GAVE HIS ALL

Romans 5:8-9 But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Since we have now been justified by his blood, how much more shall we be saved from God’s wrath through him.

The Scene: The container of blood hanging from its holder representing the blood of Jesus, that He gave freely for us.He came, died on the cross, that we might be free from sin and gain eternal life.

Ephesians 1:7 In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace that he lavishes on us with all wisdom and understanding.

                                            THAT NAME

John 14:13-14 “And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father. You may ask me for anything in my name and I will do it.”

The Scene: JESUS drawn in many ways and colors, representing God’s people from around the whole earth, calling on His Son’s name. NOTE: There are 17 Jesus names illustrated. 17 in the Bible represents victory .

The powerful name of our Lord & Savior makes all the difference in a lost and sick world. The Sanhedrin, who understood the power of Jesus’ name, could not stop the Apostles from speaking out in the name of Jesus.

Acts 4:18-20 Then they called them in again and commanded them not to speak or teach at all in the name of Jesus. But Peter and John replied, “Judge for yourselves whether it is right in God’s sight to obey you rather than God. For we cannot help speaking about what we have seen and heard.”

Jesus tells His people, true believers, to be strong and courageous, steadfast in using that name to do good, that which glorifies God.

                                      THE  LIGHT

Genesis 1:2  Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness  was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.

“I am the  Light,” Jesus said. ” I am the source of all light, without Me all is darkness.”

Genesis 1:3  And God said,”Let there be light.”  God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness. God called the light “day”, and the darkness “night”. And there was evening and there was morning– the first day.

John 8:12  When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”

In order to stay on the right path of salvation we must stay in His light, read His Word, do what it says, and not stray into the darkness of this world.  For if one strays into the darkness of this world he/she not find his/her way back to the light without repentance.

                                             FIRST AID

Hebrews 4:16  Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.

The Scene: First aid kit containing a  blue cover with gold leaf pages Bible. The blue and gold represent  royalty and the purple represents the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, that surrounds the Word of God.

As the pastor prayed for someone, I could see a first aid kit coming down from above. The Holy Spirit said,” Open it.”

God’s Word is purifying to the soul of man and to make the the Church holy.

Ephesians 5:26-27  to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word, and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless.

Though we quickly take care of the  physical hurts of our bodies, we often neglect the inner healing of our soul and spirit, which we so much need.

John 6:63  “The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you are spirit and they are life.”

Our God is Jehovah Rophe, that is, Jehovah heals!

Matthew 4:4 Jesus answered. “It is written: “Man does not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.”
