BLOOD OF LIFE

BLOOD OF LIFE

Psalm 87:7 “As they make music they will sing, ‘All my fountains are in you.’ “

The Scene: An eruption, like a geyser, with the blood of Jesus flowing upward and outward–a representation of the blood covering which satisfies God’s holy requirement for acceptance into heaven because of the sins which all have committed. Mankind’s disobedience began in the Garden of Eden when He, God, was required to slay an animal to make coverings for Adam and Eve because of their disobedience of His command. They were told by God to not eat from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, but chose instead to listen to the serpent which was indwelt by Satan, the enemy, in the Garden. God will not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. All must come to God through life-changing faith in Jesus Christ our Lord, the one and only Son of God and covering for sin.

Romans 3:23-25 “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. God presented him as a sacrifice of atonement through faith in his blood.”

Romans 4:7-8 “Blessed are they whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered. Blessed is the man whose sin the Lord will never count against him.”

The blood of the Lamb, Jesus, extends to and covers all who want to believe in Him, the only Son of God the Father, who gave His life for the sins of many, those whose names are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.

Revelation 3:5 “He who overcomes will, like them, be dressed in white. I will never blot out his name from the Book of Life, but will acknowledge his name before my Father and his angels.”

7-11 JESUS’ COVERING

ENTER THRU MY GATE

ENTER THROUGH MY GATE

John 10:9 “I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. He will come in and go out, and find pasture.”

The Scene: A representation of the gate (Jesus Christ) that all must pass through to be saved.

“There is only one way to gain salvation,” said Jesus,” and that way is through me.” Our sustenance comes from Him.

John 10:11,14 “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep….I am the good shepherd, I know my sheep and my sheep know me. “

Revelation 22:14 “Blessed are those who wash their robes, that they may have the right to the tree of life and may go through the gates into the city.” (the New Jerusalem)

7-12 JESUS IS THE WAY

JESUS BRIDGES THE GAP

JESUS BRIDGES THE GAP

Psalm 46:1-2 “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea.”

The Scene: The ground opened a deep rift/fissure, symbolic of the sin that separates people from their God* followed by the cross of Jesus stretched across the chasm, bridging the gap of humankind–separation from God the Father, due to our sin nature. *The Jordan River is flowing at the bottom of the rift, representing freedom from sin, once crossed through saving faith in our Lord Jesus.

Numbers 16 (READ) : The consequences for disobedient, defiant men who rose up against Moses and Aaron. They were named Korah, Dathan, Abiram and their families, who were swallowed up by the earth as they stood before their tents.

THE POINT: Disobedience brings consequences of punishment; obedience brings salvation and rewards after salvation, to those who choose to follow Jesus the Christ. However, God is quick to forgive us of sins, if we will repent quickly. 2 Chronicles 7:14 “If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”

7-9 SALVATION

PRAISE THE NAME OF THE LORD

PRAISE THE NAME OF THE LORD

Psalm 113:3, 5-6 “From the rising of the sun to the place where it sets, the name of the Lord is to be praised. Who is like the Lord our God, the One who sits enthroned on high, who stoops down to look on the heavens and the earth? “

The Scene: A sequence: A scene of the sun and moon seen at the same time from afar– the light of the sun striking the moon, observed sunrise to sunset and the back side of the moon in darkness.

The Holy Spirit wants the children of God to know, “Their praises to Him, in good times and bad times, unleash God’s blessings and mercy on His people (those who are born-again believers in Jesus Christ , Son of God, Savior) whether in the times of light or in times of darkness. He is here for His children, all who love Him and worship Him.”

1Peter 2:9 “But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.”

Isaiah 60:20 “Your sun will never set again, and your moon will wane no more; the Lord will be your everlasting light, and your days of sorrow will end.”

Revelation 22:5 “There will be no more night. They will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, for the Lord God will give them light. And they will reign for ever and ever.”

7-8 JESUS OUR LIGHT

LATENT POWER OF GOD

LATENT POWER OF GOD

2 Samuel 22: 12-14 “He made darkness his canopy around him–the dark rain clouds of the sky. Out of the brightness of his presence bolts of lightning blazed forth. The Lord thundered from heaven; the voice of the Most High resounded.”

The Scene: Dark storm clouds and lightning, moving across the sky–representing God’s latent power.

We cannot see the electricity in the atmosphere with our eyes until the lightning appears and then we hear the thunder crash or roll. Then we can see the awesome power stored above.

Our God has latent power awaiting release on our behalf–when His people pray, call out to Him, using the name above all names, Christ Jesus!

2 Samuel 22:17-18 “He reached down from on high and took hold of me; he drew me out of deep waters. He rescued me from my powerful enemy, from my foes, who were too strong for me.”

1 Peter 5:6-8, 11 “Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. To him be the power for ever and ever. Amen.

7-7 GOD’S POWER

JOY OF CHRISTMAS

JOY OF CHRISTMAS

Psalm 96:11-12 “Let the heavens rejoice, let the earth be glad; let the sea resound, and all that is in it; let the fields be jubilant, and everything in them. Then all the trees of the forest will sing for joy.”

The Scene: A Christmas tree–representing “The reason for the season, Jesus.” And the trees outside the windows with raised branches, appearing as raised arms, singing to the Lord!

Isaiah 42:10 “Sing to the Lord a new song, his praise from the ends of the earth, you who go down to the sea, and all that is in it, you islands, and all who live in them.”

Psalm 96:1-4 “Sing to the Lord a new song; sing to the Lord all the earth. Sing to the Lord, praise his name; proclaim his salvation day after day. Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous deeds among all peoples. For great is the Lord and most worthy of praise; he is to be feared above all gods.”

Luke 2:9-11 “An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. But the angel said to them, ‘Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord.”

6-52 Christmas

ROOTED IN JESUS

ROOTED IN JESUS

Colossians 2:7 “Rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.”

The Scene: A giant oak tree with its root system exposed to view, symbolic of born-again children of God, rooted in His Son, Jesus, and His Word.

” For if you are rooted in me nothing can befall you that you cannot overcome, ‘Said the Lord.”

Romans 15:12 “And again, Isaiah says, ‘The Root of Jesse* will spring up, one who will arise to rule over the nations; the Gentiles will hope in him.’ “

Like the giant oak tree shown in the vision, which shows a great root system maintaining this mighty oak, we, God’s children, are rooted in Christ.

Isaiah 11:1-3a “A shoot will come up from the stump of Jesse *; from his roots a Branch will bear fruit. The Spirit of the Lord will rest on him–the Spirit of wisdom and of understanding, the Spirit of counsel and of power, the Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord– and he will delight in the fear of the Lord .”

Jesse: was the father of King David; Mary the mother of Jesus was a descendent of King David. Jesus, too, was of the tribe of Judah and the lineage of Jesse and King David. Also, Jesus’ stepfather Joseph was of the lineage of King David, Jacob, and Abraham.

7-10 ROOTED IN JESUS

ALL IS THE LORD’S

ALL IS THE LORD’S

Psalm 8:6-9 “You made him ruler over the works of your hands; you put everything under his feet: all flocks and herds, and the beasts of the field, the birds of the air, and the fish of the sea, all that swim the paths of the seas. O Lord, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth!”

The Scene: Colorful tropical fish swimming about–seemingly peaceful and content representing all that God has made, His creation.

All was created and given to Christ Jesus our Lord, to be Head over all.

Hebrews 11:3 “By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God’s command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible.”

Ecclesiastes 3:11 “He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the hearts of men; yet they cannot fathom what God has done from beginning to end.”

1 Corinthians 8:6 “Yet for us there is but one God, the Father, from whom all things came and for whom we live; and there is but one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things came and through whom we live.”

It is only through our Triune God we can live and breathe.

Hebrews 1:2 “But in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom he made the universe.”

7-5 GOD’S CREATION

OCCUPY UNTIL I COME

OCCUPY UNTIL I COME

Psalm 33:20-22 “We wait in hope for the Lord; he is our help and our shield. In him our hearts rejoice, for we trust in his holy name. May your unfailing love rest upon us, O Lord, even as we put our hope in you.”

The Scene: The camp fires burning brightly in the darkness on the hills–the fire represents the spirit in each believer who know the Lord Jesus Christ. Those who are born-again, and baptized in the Holy Spirit are awaiting Jesus Christ’s return/His Second Coming.

Acts 2:2-3 “Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them.”

Acts 1:8 “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

Hebrews 9:28 “So Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many people; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.”

Revelation 22:7 “Behold, I am coming soon! Blessed is he who keeps the words of prophecy in this book.” (refers to the Book of the Revelation)

7-3 JESUS’ RETURN

MY FORTRESS

MY FORTRESS

Psalm 71:1, 3 “In you, O Lord, I have taken refuge; let me never be put to shame. Be my rock of refuge, to which I can always go; give the command to save me, for you are my rock and my fortress.”

The Scene: A fortress set high upon a rock (mountain) a safe place.

Psalm 18:1-3 “I love you, O Lord my strength. The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge. He is my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. I call to the Lord, who is worthy of praise, and I am saved from my enemies.”

When we pray as we are commanded: to ask, seek, knock, the doors of heaven are opened for us to be heard by our God and Father. When we call in the mighty name of Jesus Christ our Lord for rescue, He hears our prayer and will see us through the troubled waters. See Matthew 7:7.

Matthew 21:22 “Jesus replied, ‘I tell you the truth, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done to the fig tree, but also you can say to this mountain, “Go, throw yourself into the sea, and it will be done.” ‘ “

7-2 MY DELIVERER
