Job 37:2,6-7 “Listen! Listen to the roar of his voice, to the rumbling that comes from his mouth. He says to the snow, ‘Fall on the earth,’ and to the rain shower, ‘Be a mighty downpour.’ So that all men he has made may know his works, he stops every man from his labor.”

The Scene: A mountain cabin covered with snow + three birds in flight: symbolic of the Holy Spirit’s presence.

Jesus covers us with His love, like the gentle snow that falls and covers he earth like a blanket.

Romans 4:7-8 “Blessed are they whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered. Blessed is the man whose sin the Lord will never count against him. “

Our sins are covered by the blood of the Lamb when we repent before God. The righteous will enjoy the love, mercy, grace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

John 1:29 “The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, ‘Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!”

Psalm 51:7 “Cleanse me with hyssop, and I will be clean; wash me, and I will be whiter than snow.”

5-169 COVERED SINS

HOSEA 14:9 “Who is wise? He will realize these things. Who is discerning? He will understand them. The ways of the Lord are right; the righteous walk in them, but the rebellious stumble in them. “

The Scene: A pair of feet–a reminder that to Jesus, our great teacher, Lord and Savior, the feet illustration has great significance, as He taught His flock

John 13:12-17 “When he had finished washing their feet, he put on his clothes and returned to his place. ‘Do you understand what I have done for you?’ he asked them. ‘You call me “Teacher” and “Lord,” and rightly so, for that is what I am. Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another’s feet. I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you. I tell you the truth, no servant is greater than his master, nor is a messenger greater than the one who sent him. Now that you know these things, you will be blessed if you do them.’ “

The feet were used in Scripture by Father God to show He had placed, Jesus, His Son, in charge of everything and gave Him the power to rule over all.

Ephesians 1:22 “And God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything to the church, which is his body, the fullness of him who fills everything in every way.”

Romans 10:15 And how can they preach unless they are sent? As it is written, ‘How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!’

5-168 RIGHTEOUSNESS

Matthew 16:24 ” Then Jesus said to his disciples, ‘If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. ‘ “

The Scene: Representative of Jesus Christ our Lord carrying His cross to Gethsemane, where he was crucified on the cross for the sins of the whole world.

Our cross: Persecution from the world for Christ’s sake, that is, all suffering that Father God allows; which includes troubles and spiritual battles/obstacles (sin).

5-166 CROSS

Deuteronomy 32:4 ” ‘He is the Rock, his works are perfect, and all his ways are just. A faithful God who does no wrong, upright and just is he. “

The Scene: The Rock on a hill like Chimney Rock National Monument in Colorado.

“Like Chimney Rock, My people will see Me and recognize Me as their Rock*,” quickened the Holy Spirit. *Three birds are close to the Rock which represents the Holy Trinity.

1 Samuel 2:2 “There is no one holy like the Lord; there is no one besides you; there is no Rock like our God.”

5-167 JESUS, ROCK

Psalm 100:4-5 “Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. For the Lord is good and his love endures forever.”

The Scene: Stars moving across the heavens with the planets trembling in their places. From the motion of the stars came giant waterfalls of living water, flowing down to earth, to the people including God’s children, to those who have been born-again through faith in Jesus Christ. The waterfalls represent God’s blessings sent down to His children.

Father God longs for the praises from His own. 2 Samuel 22:47 “The Lord lives! Praise be to my rock! Exalted be God, the Rock, my Savior!”

Acts 2:17-19 “In the last days, God says, ‘I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams. Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days, and they will prophesy. I will show wonders in the heavens, blood and fire and billows of smoke.”

He is our God!

5-164 LAST DAYS

Psalm 46:10 “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.”

The Scene: God appearing to rise as Mt. Zion. The mountain rose from the ground and grew very large–shortly thereafter a small glint of the sun began to show. The sun represents God’s only-begotten Son, Jesus Christ, the light of the world.

God’s people have actually seen but a small portion of Christ our Savior. The day is coming when we will see Him, face to face, in all His glory, majesty, full light and power, in the new Jerusalem.

John 8:12 “When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, ‘I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.’ “

Revelation 21:23-24 “The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God gives it light, and the Lamb is its lamp. The nations will walk by its light, and the kings of the earth will bring their splendor into it.”

5-165 GOD’S LIGHT

Matthew 7: 7-8 “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.”

The Scene: A pair of large wooden doors—representing access to our Father God, through His Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, Savior, as we’re led by His Holy Spirit.

Sometimes a simple request is all it takes for our prayers/ requests to be answered.

Promise for the time of the new heavens and new earth: Isaiah 65:24 “Before they call I will answer; while they are still speaking I will hear.”

At other times, the Lord wants us to draw nearer to Him, which requires persistence and diligence. So knock until the door is opened; until then we patiently wait.

God’s answer is always,”No, yes, or wait!” God will not answer, “Maybe. “

2 Corinthians 12:8-9 “Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me. But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.”

5-163 PESISTENCE

2 Corinthians 4:6 “For God, who said, ‘Let light shine out of darkness,’ made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ.”

The Scene: The sun shining through the skylight in the roof.

The Holy Spirit quickened: the Lord Jesus Christ will illuminate people’s hearts, like the sunlight streaming in 24 hrs. each day, if they will only ask Him into their hearts.

John 3:21 “But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what he has done has been done through God.”

2 Corinthians 3:18 ” And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.”

5-162 LIGHT

1 Peter 2:9 “But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.”

The Scene: A clay pot, the work of its Maker representing God’s people who are handmade by Father God.

God’s people are all carefully, wonderfully made in His image.

Psalm 139:14 “I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.”

Revelation 17:14 “They will make war against the Lamb, but the Lamb will overcome them because he is *Lord of lords and King of kings–and with him will be his called, chosen, and faithful followers.” *Lord = Owner: Unger’s Bible Dictionary, 1977 edition. He has absolute control. For those who choose to belong to Jesus, our Lord and Savior, we have His promises, which includes eternal life with Him in heaven.

5-161 CHOSEN

Ezekiel 11:17 ” Therefore say: ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: I will gather you from the nations and bring you back from the countries where you have been scattered, and I will give you back the land of Israel again.’ “

The Scene: The flag of the new nation of Israel formed in 1948- -a reminder that the fulfillment of time is coming.

Matthew 3:1-2 “In those days John the Baptist came, preaching in the Desert of Judea and saying, ‘Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near.’ This is he who was spoken of through the prophet Isaiah: ‘A voice of one calling in the desert, “Prepare the way for the Lord, make straight paths for him.” ‘ “

Jesus says in His Word that His return will come, after a time, following the rebirth of the nation of Israel–that time could be very soon. A call from the Holy Scriptures tells God’s people to get their houses in order, for the return of our Lord and Savior Jesus and that the time of the fullness for His imminent return is at hand. (Read Matthew 25: 1-13)

A time of deception has come upon the earth. Jesus warned His people to be aware, to be ready and alert for His second appearing.

Matthew 24:4-5 “Jesus answered: ‘Watch out that no one deceives you. For many will come in my name, claiming, “I am the Christ,” and will deceive many.’ “

Be aware of the apostate church and its lies–false teachings. Stay in His Word daily listening to the voice of the Holy Spirit.
