Revelation 7:16-17 “Never again will they hunger; never again will they thirst. The sun will not beat upon them, nor scorching heat. For the Lamb at the center of the throne will be their shepherd; he will lead them to springs of living water. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.”

The Scene: At first there was a man standing in the sun baking from the heat represented by feelings of condemnation (guilt). A Christian man, he fell to his knees and prayed, facing the sun. As he prayed, a large cross came up out of the ground. The large cross cast a shadow toward the man, who was now in total shade, protected from the sun’s rays and heat. Because he was a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ, his prayers continued to increase the size of the cross, until he was in total shade. He was no longer undergoing the enemy’s guilt.

Romans 8:1 “Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set me free from the law of sin and death.”

James 5:16b “The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.”

Mark11:24-25 “Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive him, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins.”

Ephesians 2:19-22 “Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and aliens, but fellow citizens with God’s people and members of God’s household, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone. Revelation 21:3 ” And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, ‘Now the dwelling of God is with men, and he will live with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God.’ “

The Scene: A handwritten scroll: God’s people have been entrusted to Jesus Christ our Lord; it will go badly for anyone that wrongs one of His own, the Holy Spirit quickened to this writer.

2 Corinthians 10:4 “The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds.”

The Scene: A rack of powerful rifles, pistols and other weapons–each weapon representing a prayer for help by those who are born-again Christians, against attacks in the spiritual realm from our enemy, Satan.

Psalm 34:17 “The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles.” *

We have at our disposal an assortment of weapons (prayers) to fight the enemy–such as prayers to come against temptations and illnesses: physical, mental, or spiritual.

Hebrews 4:12 “For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.”

We can include in our prayers Scriptures from the Holy Bible, just like Jesus did when tempted by Satan or his strongmen–the Word of God will not fail us. God’s Word is true and everlasting.

Psalm 119:89 “Your word, O Lord, is eternal; it stands firm in the heavens.”

When we don’t know how to pray, the Holy Spirit will be there for us and lead us, when we ask Him for help. He will give us the right spiritual weapons (powerful prayers) to say.

READ: 1 Corinthians 15:12-58 The story of the resurrection life and victory over death.

The Scene: Three rings overlapping each other representing the Holy Trinity (Father, Son, Holy Spirit). Each circle symbolizes completeness and perfection. The axis about which the rings are set, representing the cross anchored in the Rock, Jesus, who sacrificed His life for us; and His resurrection on the third day after His crucifixion and proven death.

The three rings show Jesus in His rightful place as a part of the Holy Trinity and His oneness with Father God and the Spirit of God.

7-54 RESURRECTION LIFE

1 Peter 2:11 ” Dear friends, I urge you as aliens and strangers in this world, to abstain from sinful desires.”

The Scene: A passport and visa depiction of the Christian’s origin, as being from heaven, not earth.

Psalm 119:19 “I am a stranger on earth; do not hide your commands from me.”

Our life on earth is only temporary and brief, when compared to eternity in heaven. Our lifetime on earth is like a shooting star or comet zipping across the sky. Seen only for a brief moment in time; heaven is timeless. Our time with God Almighty in heaven will be forever.

2 Corinthians 4:18 “So we fix our eyes on not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is only temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.”

Philippians 3:18-20 “For, as I have often told you before and now say again with tears, many live as enemies of the cross of Christ. Their destiny is destruction, their god is their stomach, and their glory is in their shame. Their mind is on earthly things. But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ.”
