THE MYSTERY OF THE CLOUD
Psalm 97:2-3” Clouds and thick darkness surround Him; Righteousness & justice are the foundation of His throne.” (also, see Ez. 1:1-4)
Throughout the Old Testament Father God is seen as a cloud. Father God the Almighty hides himself in the cloud and expresses Himself through fire (The Holy Spirit) God’s image remains a mystery so that no man can make an image of God and then worship the image (idol).
Isaiah 45:15 ” Truly you are a God who hides Himself, O God & Savior of Israel: All the makers of idols will be put to shame & disgrace; They will go off into disgrace together.
