2 Corinthians 5:1-2 “Now we know that if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God, an eternal house in heaven, not built by human hands. Meanwhile we groan, longing to be clothed with our heavenly dwelling.”

The Scene: The giant salmon (representing Christian people), swimming upstream, jumping high out of the water, trying to make headway, to get back to the place of its beginning.

The salmon in this scene made it up and over the rapids and began swimming further upstream. The stream represents life in the world. The rapids are the problems and troubles we must overcome (go through), as God’s people strive to make it to their eternal homes.

2 Timothy 4:18 ” The Lord will rescue me from every evil attack and will bring me safely to his heavenly kingdom. To him be glory for ever and ever. Amen.”

The Holy Spirit has put a longing in our hearts to be in heaven with Jesus our Savior and our Father God.

Colossians 3:1-2 “Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God.  Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.”
