Luke 10:19 “I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you.”
The Scene: Representation of God’s mighty right hand, turning the shaft of a large gear assembly that is turning the world; symbolic of God’s power and authority.
The Holy Spirit reminds us that born-again believers in the Lord Jesus Christ have been given God’s power and authority to drive off our spiritual enemy, Satan and his army of evildoers, both physical and spiritual.
Ephesians 6:10 (KJV) “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.”
The key is to must stop sinning, then we can ask for God’s help and power.
John 15:7 “If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be given to you.”
The Holy Spirit tells us we have His power when we pray. So pray in a fashion similar to this: “By the power of the Holy Spirit I command you, Satan, to leave and to go to the place of the dry bones forever.”
We have been given power and authority from God to overcome all sorts of evil. We are the temple of the Holy Spirit and God is living inside of us! He tells us that if we have enough faith, we can move mountains. However the power is from God that does the work. Matthew 17:20b “I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you,”
