UNFORGIVENESS

UNFORGIVENESS

Mark 11:25 “And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive him, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins.”

The scene: A green shoot emerged from the ground and grew into a beautiful flower, representing God’s children.

A vine then came out of the ground right next to the flower’s stem. The vine grew upward wrapping itself around the flower stem and began to strangle the life from the flower–the vine symbolizing the sin of unforgiveness.

“Many Christians are caught up in the sin of unforgiveness,” said the Holy Spirit, “And need to repent.” Near the end of this vision appeared the hand of the Lord that pulled the weed from the ground at the root, thus signifying a prayer of repentance which had been said by the person represented by the flower. The Christian is showing growth in Christian walk and in spiritual maturity. Our Lord is a forgiving God to us when we forgive others.

Matthew 6:12-15 ” ‘Forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.’ For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.’ “
