Luke 21:27-28 “At that time they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.”

The Scene: Swirling clouds and bright sun shining through the cloud indicating the coming of the Lord Jesus, as He promised during His earthly ministry.

Revelation 22:7, 12 ” ‘Behold, I am coming soon!* Blessed is he who keeps the words of the prophecy in this book. v.12 ‘Behold, I am coming soon! My reward is with is with me, and I will give to everyone according to what he has done.’ ”

*soon: quickly, suddenly.

Matthew 24:3,5,12-13 “As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately. ‘Tell us’ they said, ‘When will this happen, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?’ v.5 ‘For many will come in my name, claiming, “I am the Christ,” and will deceive many.’ v. 12–13 ‘Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, but he who stands firm to the end will be saved.’ “

Christians are called to love God first.
