BRIDGING THE GAP (BE ENCOURAGERS)

Hebrews 3:13 “But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called today, so that none of you may be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness.

As Christians we are called upon to reach out and help our brothers & sisters-in-Christ, who have reached an impasse and cannot get past the problems they encounter.

Like the river raft that can provide a way across the river, which represents peoples’ problems, we can help them get past the impasses in their lives by through offering them  unconditional love, prayer & action.

John 15:13” Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends. (v.17) ” This is My command: love each other.”

BE ALIVE TO CHRIST

Revelation 22:14 ” Blessed are those who wash their robes, that they may have the right to the Tree of Life. (Jesus) and may go through the gates into the city.” (The Holy City, The New Jerusalem)

Romans 6:11” In the same way count yourselves dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus.”

Colossians 3:3 ” For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ Jesus.”

THE SCENE:

TREE: Symbolic of Jesus, The Tree of Life. Unseen, hidden, under the earth, the roots of the tree reach out  touching God’s people, as they await the resurrection of their bodies.

GRAVE MARKERS: Represent God’s people, who have been touched by the roots of the Tree of Life and shall have eternal life with God the Father and Jesus, the Son, in heaven forever.

GODS WILL AND TESTAMENT

Colossians 1:12 “Giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you (us) to share in the inheritance of the saints in the Kingdom of Light.”

It is by the blood of Jesus, God’s executor, that the will of the Father has been fulfilled.

Galatians 3:29 ” If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.”

GOD’S WILL & TESTAMENT

“GIVE GRACE”

“TAKE THE LOG OUT OF YOUR OWN EYE.”

Matthews 7:3 ” And why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye, but do not notice the log (beam, plank) that is in your own eye?

Scene: The picture frame around the eye represents a picture of how God sees us when we look down on others for their failures

As we read the Holy Scriptures, we read testimonies of fallen heroes of the Bible who sinned and were misguided by others or by their own philosophies. The Holy Spirit says “We are to focus on our own shortcomings first.” As Christians, we are not to look down our noses at others, who have fallen short.

Galatians.6:3-5 “If anyone thinks he is something when he is nothing, he deceives himself. Each one should test his own actions. Then he can take pride in himself, without comparing himself to somebody else, for each one should carry his own load.”
